The three stars is for the product, not the service. We waited in line with one cashier open. I understand that it was later in the evening, however, there was an employee (Heather) standing up front holding down a counter for ten minutes before she decided to grace the other poor cashier with her assistance. (After 8 people were in line) I feel bad for the other cashier that has to put up with a slack coworker. If she's a manager, shame on her, managers are there to step in wherever they are needed. The town of Shallotte needs more type of stores like this one. That way the residents do not have to drive more than 40 miles in order to buy apparels. During my recent visit on June 8, 2023. By eliminating the 40 plus minutes of driving to Wilmington or Myrtle Beach; I was able to spend a fraction of the time that I would normally need to buy clothes.
