Starbucks — Restaurant in Shallotte

For the most part, Starbucks are generally busy, but they always seem to have their orders in order. I watched complete chaos unfold today at this place, as the drive-thru commanded all priority over the walk-ins. People were being served from immediate service, to like like myself and my daughter waiting almost an hour to receive the order that we placed. Not only was my and my daughter 's order messed up. Several others were as well. I can't say that I will ever visit this location, or possibly any other Starbucks location ever. Again. Corporate isn't paying attention to their stores and policing how they are being ran. They do not deserve to be patronized. I would not recommend coming to this place. As I look now. Drinks are never consistent here. I usually do a mobile order because I make a few customizations to my coffee, and each time it’s totally different tasting even though it’s the exact same order. To me, I feel like their coffee tastes very bitter and acidic compared to other Starbucks. I do not like giving drinks back and having them remake them, but I’ve unfortunately had to a handful of times, especially if I order one of their featured crafted drinks that are $5-$6. I also waited over 30 minutes one time for my drink. They did give me a $4 gift card for the inconvenience though, which was nice. I will say though that the staff have always been very friendly. Two websites for this location as you can see the times of operation are drastically different. One says 5AM to 10 PM The other one says 8 AM to 3:30 PM. What coffee shop ever ever especially Starbucks open at 8 AM? If staffing is the issue close earlier! You’re giving all your business away to the locals who which by the way have a line 6 cars deep. And by the way has fantastic customer service and the best coffee I ever had so maybe this was a blessing in disguise but I wouldn’t know how to compare when the doors aren’t even open at Starbucks !! don’t understand why a corporate phone store would have these hours!????
