EMPTY shelves EVERYWHERE – But not due to the lack of product , its due to terrible use of resources ( employees ) by management . For example – You would think at a grocery store , management's priority would be to insure that the product is “ available “ and shelves are stocked - But not here - , they have more people filling online orders than those stocking the shelves ! --- Next time you are there- notice the ratio of people stocking VS. filling orders ....and how many empty shelves there are . The produce and meat departments are a complete joke – They are either empty , almost empty , or so picked thru - all you are left with is the worst of product - either from spoilage or items past expiration date -
I’m retired , so I can shop anytime - yet these same problems are common throughout the day ------ To be clear , they are horrendous in the morning and early afternoon . I also recommend not shopping this Kroger on the first or- the last day of the weekly sale - as a good majority of the sale items are either out of stock ( last day ) , or haven't been put out yet (first day ) .... Monday mornings are also bad for shopping , in addition to the empty shelves , it’s a social fest among employees – IE: their time before the boss gets in
I wont even get started on the “bottle neck “ at check out / self check out ...
FWIW - Back in the day , I was a Store Manager at Farmer Jacks – so I speak with knowledge of the “ industry “ .... Its frustrating as 90 % of the problems I see are fixable—and it starts with having the RIGHT people --- From the store management down to the...
Read moreThe he/she they have working the clothing department is such a horrible retail worker. Went there around 9/9:20 ish, asked another worker if the fitting rooms were open and she said yes. Then a few minutes later I get a knock at my fitting room door and it’s this man in women’s clothing telling me they’re closing and I need to leave the fitting room immediately. I apologize and told her I wasn’t aware they closed the fitting rooms 30 minutes before they closed the store. He/she told me I needed to leave IMMEDIATELY and I couldn’t try on anymore clothes. I told it I was changing back to my clothes and it started knocking on the door telling me that it had other places and things to do then to sit there and wait for me all night. I tried to tell it that the other employee told me I had until 10 to use the fitting room, and that I was told to take my time. It just didn’t wanna hear it what so ever. This honestly has been by far my worst experience at this location. I’m sad bc my bank is also at this location and I would hate to have to go elsewhere just bc of this mentally...
Read moreThe African American female cashier who has a pixie cutt is beyond rude. She threw my eggs down the conveyer belt.... not joking. Think of what a rock looks like when you skip it on a pond. I’m not paying to have all of my eggs broken before I even leave the store! After she started throwing my purchases I started helping the bagger bag my groceries because she was smushing my eggs... which she put under my produce. (Eye roll.) The store is a very nice store. It’s very clean and easy to find whatever you are looking for. All I’m saying is I don’t care how nice your store is... I won’t be going back if your employees don’t a) stop talking to their coworkers while ringing someone up, and focus on the customer b) treat people’s purchases like they’re their own c) not throw someone’s receipt at them after yelling have a nice day, because the customer had to take over bagging and didn’t see the receipt she...
