Food was good…not great or different by any means. They charge you $1 to make your meal spicy. COMPLETE waste of that buck! We asked for extra spice and tasted nothing. Crab rangoons were average and a bit on the small side. Pre meal soup was average at best. Salad with ginger dressing is a carbon copy of every hibachi place. Chicken was cut very small to the point it was dried out. Shrimp was great, steak was good. You won’t walk away hungry but for $84 (2 hibachi dinners, 2 cokes, appetizer, and tip), I would go to Osaka or Ichiban. They’re not much cheaper but better food and better service. Oh…you get the show too. Be careful of extras including $3 fried rice, the $1 spice rip off, and $3 fountain soda....

I have ordered about 8 Carry outs from this place. I don’t normally write reviews on restaurants that are bad. In this case it was a very bad experience each time. The person who took the order did not get the right order in terms of quantity and prepared the way I asked for it. This is not the first time this has happened. I explained it very clearly twice. I get home and sure enough it’s messed up. This week I called back to let them know. The person who answered the phone was very rude and hung up when I tried to explain her that why can’t my orders be correct. For the price they charge it is expected that I get what I ask for. I was so so so excited when I saw Sunrise Hibachi Island was opening because it's only a few minutes from where I live!
My sister and I got carry out from here tonight for the first time and I must say that it was FANTASTIC. Everything was absolutely delicious! From the DELICIOUS miso soup, to the rice and noodles, to our perfectly cooked filets, we were blown away! Even the salad dressing and ginger sauces were perfect!!
My sister also said when she picked the food up that the restaurant was super cute and looked very clean, and they were taking multiple steps/actions to be safe for covid.
We will DEFINITELY be back, and I highly recommend it to others in...
