Went to the newly opened Penn Station on 26 and Van Dyke and nothing but terrible service the entire time there. There were many other costumers in front of me that were highly upset that it took a minimum of 20 minutes to get their sub. I watched 3 different orders in front of mine get messed up and had to be remade, which made the waiting process even longer. The workers were constantly yelling at each other loud enough that the entire store heard them, which made their store look bad. I got my sub and a man that ordered 5 people in front of me still did not receive his food, he went to counter to ask where his was and once he left, I could clearly hear one of the workers talk badly about him and say she did not deserve to be “yelled” at, even though that did not occur. This worker was the one causing chaos and yelling at the other workers the entire duration I was there. Extremely unappealing work environment and managed store. Will not be returning to due to the issues I experienced while...
Read moreI love Penn Station. It’s my favorite place to get subs and fries, just not ever again at this location.
We’ve given this location 4-5 tries now because it’s about 10 minutes closer to our house than the Rochester location.
Not worth it. Even if Rochester was 20 minutes further.
For starters, the cashiers are always pushy as heck to get you through the line. Today the guy was a jerk. Even the two patrons behind us were complaining about him.
Multiple times we have went here, the cookies were dry as well which is a big no no, especially for a place that typically has the best cookies ever. Today they were out of them at 7 pm so we couldn’t even give those a third chance.
Food has been decent but not as good as the Rochester location at all.
Service and attitudes have always been subpar.
Do yourself a favor and don’t avoid Penn Station entirely, just...
Read moreTheir subs are good but their service is poor. I can't count how many times they've messed up my food and I had to take it back to get corrected. The time that did it for me was today when I was given a sandwich and was assured there were no tomatoes on it and the receipt also said no tomatoes...for me to get it home AND IT HAD TOMATOES. You guessed it, had to go back up there to get it corrected. I should not have to do this. The person who handed me the sandwich straight up lied to me about it not having tomatoes. They aren't paid enough to care so ALWAYS check your sandwich before taking it home. Avoiding...
