Thank you Serena for optimal service today!! You made my screen repair process a breeze!! š¤Returned on 4/11/24 because the screen protector that was placed on by Serena came off. Well when I got home I noticed the blanket kept sticking to my phone, after close observation I noticed a piece of the screen was not affixed and it was clingy to the fibers. It's now sat night ,, Sunday UBREAKIFIX was closed. So I called in on Monday to explain that my screen protector wasn't completely affixed. I got their vcmail so I left msg. This is my 1st time having a SC protector and I wasn't the one to place on the phone initially, Serena placed it on and it wasn't setting properly on thumbprint so she removed and replaced. Now by Monday afternoon the screen protector had come off completely. Now thurs I go down to the store 30 min drive and explain what the issue was. And this is what I was told, " we can sell u another one at 1/2 price because it's not warranted" EXCUSE ME???? I was not satisfied with that response, so I asked where on my receipt or in the store does it indicate, once item is purchased there's no replacement or full refunds. All I asked for was for it to be placed on properly, obviously it wasn't on properly to just fall off??? Then too make matters worse, the guy says his manager said " I didn't purchase the more expensive screen protector " so it's not gonna be covered.. Hello all I asked at time of purchase was a screen protector and which ever was sold to me was the one that Serena put on my phone. Like really this is how you value a customer? I didn't ask for my$31 back all I asked was for it to be placed on correctly. I put back the case I was going to purchase, but I just took back my phone and Screen protector and left the premises. Never drop or abuse it. Guess what? A crack started in the crease. Knowing I only had 2 months left under the Samsung warranty which covers this in full I put in a service ticket. I was directed to UbreakIfix - nearest one to me was Shelton. I set up the appointment online. Went there and everything was explained. Whether you like what you are hearing or not - it is how it is. For example in my case they said if it was the factory screen protector then I would have the fix done that day. However if it was damage to the screen then it would be up to a week. So I walked away knowing the options. You will have to give them your pass code as well as pattern if you have that set up. They run a diagnostic on your phone to make sure it is functioning perfectly when it is returned to you. You can also track your service online. I dropped it off at 11AM and it was done at 6:45 PM just in time before closing! I was blown away with the results. The phone was immaculate. As if it was just purchased. Clean - fingerprint free - new screen protector just perfect! Now, whether or not I will keep this device is another topic. 9 months from now will this happen again? When they do, it looks like the guy is dreading every single day that he works there and is the least enthusiastic person on the face of the earth. Long story short he ends up telling me that my back camera replacement does not include a new flash on the camera. He goes to the back to check with his manager and they both agree that they are separate costs. How in the world are they separate? The replacement piece on the back camera includes a new flash. He quoted me one price for the back camera replacement and said that he would have to run "diags" before giving me a quote on the flash replacement and the front camera replacement. He mentioned that they do not have the parts in the store and would have to order them which is fine but says that the diagnostics are going to be done by the end of the day. What do you mean by the end of the day? He said 3 hours minimum. I asked why is it going to take 3 hours to run a test that took 2 minutes at the Apple store. He said that they have other work orders in the back that they are working on as well. Why the hell am I setting up an appointment for you to take my phone and tell me to come back in a few hours when competitors can do everything needed within an hour?
