The pizza was very fresh and the crust was the best I've had in a long time. I ordered the Spicy Pie which was sausage, cherry peppers and red onions. It wasn't until after I ate the first two slices that I realized something was off. It was mostly cherry peppers. I honestly thought they forgot the sausage. I had to look really closely to see what I wasn't even sure was sausage, it was crumbled so tiny. It was more like sausage sauce (with very little sausage). So because I had it delivered, I paid almost $30 for basically a cherry pepper pizza. Could have been a good pizza all things considered, but it was disappointing.

Legends Pizza is hands-down one of our favorite local pizza shops. They offer a wide variety of specialty pizzas—something for everyone. Personally, I’m a big fan of the mashed potato pizza... they absolutely nail it every time. The toppings are always perfectly balanced—not too heavy, not too light—and the crust has that perfect bite. Service is consistently fast and friendly, whether you’re grabbing takeout or dining in. You can tell they care about their customers and their product. If you’re in the Shelton area and craving good pizza, Legends should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and fast service. Tried two slices of pizza and the gyro with French fries. Good portions and tasty food. Pizza is definitely good. There’s large selection of pizza, wraps, pasta, salads, burgers, plenty of option to choose from. Reasonable prices. The ambient inside is comfortable, spacious and lots of tables to sit. This is a good spot that I’d recommend to anyone.

Service has definitely gone down hill. After doing a family get together we decided to call one of our trusted take out places. We dont eat out very often and this was supposed to be a nice treat. Two sandwiches and a salad for us to split with the adults and nuggets for the grandchild. Tuna that was ordered to share was spoiled, had an ammonia smell once the bread was lifted, and seemed to have slimy consistency. Before realizing My wife, my daughter and my grandson had some of it. Grandson ate almost the full 1/3 of it. He is only three yrs old :( .Wife and daughter had another 1/3 of it and noticed after two bites were swallowed with a very unpleasant rotten after taste. The cheese steak was not fresh. The meat tasted like it was in the cooler for about 5 days before being prepared. My son in law and I consumed ours before my daughter and wife did. The rest of the food was packed up and placed in the refridgerator. We were afraid to consume anymore of the food after that. We offered to have the driver come back and pick up the remainder of the food, the rotten tuna sandwich with the other half cut into thirds and the missing three bites but the counter clerk told us to keep the rest of it. She put us on hold (i am guessing to check the tuna) then came back on and gave a prompt refund without any problem. The first time we tried your restaurant it was great with fried fish platter, eggplant florentine, steak and cheese grinder (that one was very good not this time), and an antipasto... I am not sure what is going on but I only hope my grandson, wife, and daughter wont suffer from any kind of foodborne illness... please keep on top of things, I know its Monday, but if it doesnt smell right and you wont touch it with a ten foot pole, I doubt you will retain any customers. We tip well too... that being said the driver was very polite, and so was the young woman who refunded the order. Such a shame your food used to always be fresh. What happened?? If it's bad throw it away dont mix the new and old...

Until tonight I was treated with respect. I had complained because my last order was wrong and the pizza was not the quality I've come to expect after coming here for 7 years or more. Order was refunded, but was told to complain "sooner", as if the pasta marinara I didn't order would've turned into the vodka penne I did order in 10 minutes or an hour. Or that the pizza would've been sliced properly into quarters and not thirds. Yet he felt disrespected? I've complained maybe twice ever. I ordered some grinders tonight and they were good, but I was completely disrespected by the young kid at the checkout counter. Was told to go get food somewhere else if I didn't like the food. So, to the owner, and thanks to your young inexperiencedisrespectful employee....That's exactly what I'm gonna do. You've lost a long time once a week customer. Congratulations.

Reply to the owner's response:

It was never about the money and I didn't even request the refund. And the only way the situation will be "rectified" is when your employee learns how to respectfully speak to a long time customer and apologizes to me. When he's ready that will be the only time I ever step foot in your place of business or order from you. Love the absolute dismissal of all I said. Value your customers? Your reply speaks volumes. Absolutely comical, you could care less. Once again.......

I’m honestly shocked at Heriberto Martinez’s review, I go to legends at least twice a week and not only is the food amazing but it’s one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever stepped foot in. I feel like this person has to have gotten his restaurants mixed up! Anyways I highly recommend any of their delicious sandwiches, salads, and wraps, my personal favorites are the east side chicken grinder and the frank Sinatra wrap. For pizza they do the best hot oil pizza that I’ve ever had, it’s the perfect blend of sweet and heat as I’m not a spicy person but it’s absolutely amazing. For salads I usually get a grilled chicken salad, they give a generous helping of chicken in their salad which is really filling if you want to eat a bit healthier. 5 stars from me,...
