A.J. Kleins is an absolutely wonderful, family owned jewelry store. My partner and I worked with consultant Hope to find both of our dream engagement rings! We even found our wedding bands (before we were even engaged!). They are kind, accepting, and beyond helpful in the buying process for these special, one of a kind moments in your life. I spoke to the actual jeweler who made my engagement ring, and he answered all my questions (and I had a lot)! He offered my partner a variety of diamonds well within our budget that fit the expectations I wanted (cut, color, quality, etc) making it so easy for my partner to pick the perfect lab grown diamond. Even picking the setting took me a long time but Hope never pushed or pressured me - she let me see every ring I wanted and let me try on anything I requested (multiple times!). She even listened when I said there was a setting for an engagement ring in another store I wanted to try - I showed her a picture and she found the equivalent right there in the store in no time! When picking wedding bands, Hope allowed me to try every single variation of wedding band to ensure I got the one that I had pictured in my mind. She probably spent well over 90 minutes with me looking at all the options and helping me find the perfect band (after having spent near 2 hours finding the perfect engagement ring!)

They allowed us to take our time with our purchase and held the rings at the store for us until we were both ready for the perfect moment. Our rings are stunning - we cannot thank A.J. Kleins enough!!

Also got a bracelet cleaning and repaired with them - affordable and made my bracelet look brand new!

I been shopping over a year for a engagement ring and been checking prices with big jewelry stores and online vendors but for such a big purchase I really wanted to buy it in person and with someone that made me feel comfortable while also getting me what I want at a fair price. A friend of mine referred AJ Klein in Shelton. From the first day I walked in there the staff and owner Alan where amazing from there customer Servcie to there selection. After talking with Alan about my thoughts with what I was looking for he got some diamonds in to choose from and we found the perfect band which was exactly what my fiancé has said she always wanted. A week later the ring was all set and came out beautiful exactly what I was hoping to get. He also got me all in under what I Initially said my budget was, the pricing was as competitive as all those big online vendors but with the guidance and expertise of a jeweler. Honestly if your looking to buy any jewelry don't look no further because AJ Klein won't let you down! I will definitely be back for the wedding bands and any other jewelry needs in the future. My (now) wife and I were in CT to visit my family and my mom found a few jewelry stores for us to check out (we live in NJ) because my wife wanted to find her wedding rings. Her engagement ring is unique in that it has a little diamond on each side so another ring won't fit flush with it. So, we wanted to get a filler ring plus the wedding band. After going to several different stores in both NJ and CT, AJ Klein was our last stop. Boy we were glad that we made the trip.

Not only was my wife able to find the exact rings she wanted but the customer service was second to none. The rings, which required some customization, we're done perfectly and very quickly. Alan kept us up to date every step of the way. On top of getting the best customer service and the nicest rings that we're exactly what she wanted, the cost was less than every other place!!

Easily the best jeweler around. Alan and his company have made lifetime customers out of my family and me. I'll drive to CT from NJ every time we need...
