My Nintendo switch was taken into CPR to fix a broken joy stick. When i took it in it took about a week and a half to be fixed, when they ensured me it was a quick 1-2 day job. I called every other day, confused on the status of my switch and every time I called the manger was gone. Finally i went to pick it up and he ensured me that everything was fixed and working when it was not. The game card slot would not accept any games. I immediately made the issue aware to the manager who then claimed it was a SD problem and I should factory reset the system and buy a new SD card. He stated that if that did not resolve the issue they can look at it again and the “fix wouldn’t be expensive” - as though i should have to pay for this new issue on my device that was a direct result of his rushed work and irresponsibility. Fast forward to the next weekend: i brought it back in due to the issue not being resolved. Upon having it looked at, the brand new screws that i paid for during the replacement process were stripped and they could not access my internal system due to the screws that the manager stripped while installing them. Fast forward to a week later and my switch is finally fixed thanks to the fantastic work provided by Austin (NOT the manager). However, due to the manager telling me to factory reset my switch i lost all the data that was previously stored on my games.
I type all of this to tell you guys to NOT let the sad excuse of a manager work on your device, he is untimely, selfish, and lazy. If you go to CPR please use Austin who works weekends. He was kind, apologetic and worked diligently to fix the issue. Austin is the sole reason i am rating the place higher...
Read moreThey stole my phones stylis and gave me a plastic one then my phone always says the stylis is disconnected. When I tried to have a reasonable conversation with him he grew impatient and said it was not possible because of how they operate and then he said my phone couldn't have ever had a full metal stylis; he all but implied i wasn't telling the truth. All I asked him kindly is if he could check the cameras or talk to the person who fixed it and find out; I assure him he could take his time aswell. He was not willing to compromise, care, or even believe and respect his customers. Before I even brought my phone in I even asked my fiance if I should keep my stylis so they wouldn't lose it by some mistake and I thought to myself no it should be fine the store looks clean and they look orderly and the guy who helped me every time was kind until he showed his true colors. I hope no mistakes happen to anyone else and that they don't have to speak to someone kindly and not get the same...
Read moreMy wife’s cellphone battery was dying. So, I looked for a place where we could get a replacement including installation. I considered buying the battery and putting it in myself but, after watching some YouTube videos, decided that I didn’t trust myself working inside the phone’s intricate electronics. It wasn’t worth the extra $40 I’d save. Especially with a $800 phone. CPR Cell Phone Repair Sherman was conveniently located near Walmart, promised a 30 minute turnaround time and quoted a price $20 cheaper than a nearby competitor. We dropped her phone off and went to run a few errands. By the time we were done, her phone was ready. My only complaint is that they didn’t call us, as promised, when the phone was ready. So far, the phone is working great. Update 3/17/21: I replaced my phone battery as well. They gave me the same price as my wife received. They were fast and efficient. My phone battery is now lasting at least twice as long as it was before the battery...
