Sherman Town Center — Local services in Sherman

I HATED visiting Sherman. The west side of 75 is jammed packed and horribly designed for parking, convience, shopping etc. It's all so close together sharing one big parking lot without enough manuverable options to get to a store on one side while having to cross the entire parking lot. Way too much congestion. The east side of 75 is old and is like you "cross over the railroad tracks". The businesses on the east side are also located on the west side, they are just older. This did a horrible disservice to franchise places like Taco Bell. There are hundreds of homeless, prostitutes, and too many people aimlessly walking around. The City of Sherman should be ashmaed of themselves. Basically, instead of reinvesting in the infrastructure that already existed, they just up and built the "New Area" taking the business and developments to the west side. Putting g all that money into the existing east would've improved the older area of Sherman and the housing conditions, criminal elements, loss of business and over quality of life and ecomomics just SUCKS for those...

Went there Sunday 9/14/25 about 20 minutes before closing, when I walked inside there was three ladies cutting hair one of them took the name of my kids and we waited for our turn. I can go on explaining in detail all I saw but long story short, one of my kids had a horrible haircut on that day by the lady who was giving haircuts on the second chair located on the right side of the building. This lady had a horrible attitude towards my son who was trying figure out how short he wanted his haircut by tasking this lady to try two or three different clippers sizes and apparently that was a big deal to this lady. It took me three days to write this review because I’m still mad about this specially when I paid for the haircuts I didn’t ask this lady to do...

What's to do in Simple Sherman that's not outdoors? Dodge the crappy traffic as distracted driver's over-eagerly occupy themselves in raiding their 'Super-Sherman-Size-Me' eatery bags... Or stare at the unwanted pit puppies being milled on a corner being sold by Mr. cutoff-tee and neon poster board. .. Best yet- those kiddos come out at night...to.. loiter and stare at parking lot rocks. Walmart-alternatative chain store shopping available offers all the competitive crappiness at twice the price! Sherman Town Center is only tolerable with AR: i.e.: Pokemon Go and Ingress! If you're to Young to drive, feel free to contribute to traffic by screaming until your tormented driver STOPs mid street to capture the coveted Stops/Gyms and Portals,...
