Wish I could leave 0 stars.
Leave it to Sherman Texas Papa Johns to mess up not 1, not 2, but 3 pizzas for one order. Yup. Me and my wife ordered 2 pizzas. Not hard. One was a 3 topping. The other was half pepperoni and bacon the other half Canadian bacon and pineapple.
Mine, the 3 topping was a quarter bubbled up. So practically nothing. We all know those annoying bubbles can happen. But as a guy who’s worked for a wood fired pizza kitchen. Do your job and you minimize that. But to decide to push that product out was a bad call. But I let that one slide.
My wife’s was the bad one. They forgot the half pepperoni and decided to try to just put some on top and try to toast the cheese. (Hint papa John’s. Bad call #2. People rather wait a bit longer and it be right!) not to mention it wasn’t even cut.
I’m easy going but you don’t mess with my wife’s food. So I call. They are apologetic. And offer to remake hers.
Wrong again! Left off the bacon. I’m paying 15-20 for a pizza and you’re either too stupid or high to get it right? McDonald’s employees work under more stress and fast paced conditions and they don’t mess up on this level. Hell I think Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza would be better than whatever Papa Johns is pushing out now.
Definitely look elsewhere if you want pizza.
Shame to waste almost $40. But rather eat my money than this mess...
Read moreI place my order online at 1030 pm on a Saturday April 16th It took me 3 attempts to place the same order because the online system was having issues: then once I actually get it placed , I get a call from a rude lady saying she is the manager . She rudely tells me that she can’t make the pizzas and asked if I wanted my money back. First off why can she not make my pizza? She just kept telling me because she was closing early . She told me that 3 times before I told her I didn’t understand because online it shows the store not to close until later. She then finally proceeded to tell me I can come and get because they don’t have drivers. So I asked her which is it, is she closing early or she don’t have drivers?? She sounded flabbergasted and very insecure on how to answer. Secondly OF COURSE I want my money back on my card and my rewards I used put back on my papa johns account. She sounded so surprised by that also but assured me it would happen.

Read moreWe have switched from Dominos to Papa Johns. Even though the pizzas don't arrive as warm as Dominos does, we love everything about the change, except one thing. My family owned 9 pizza parlors in the DFW area. And, a pet peeve is getting pizzas delivered that the slices are not cut through. We know you have commercial quality pizza cutters. Teach your employees to cut the pizzas. They are arriving to us with the slices essentially seeming like a 3 year old toddler tried to cut them. I can handle that they don't get the cuts even close to even (one slice twice as large as another). But, PLEASE cut them. I should not have to slice my pizzas after they are delivered. If I have to do that, I will just start ordering them uncut.
I know it is minor in most people's peeves. But, other than that, we LOVE the change we made to your business. The pizzas are always cooked and prepared exactly as we request. They are delicious.
