Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Sherman

I've been to this location 100s of times for my undying coffee addiction. Tonight was just a little different. Ordering was a breeze, got up to the window quickly even though it was super busy. I had my son with me. Was just about to get my drinks, and my son asked where are all the smoke was coming from.... I immediately knew. It was my car. All of a sudden a loud "POP" and then sizzles came from under the hood. I alerted the drive thru staff of the situation and almost panicked when they said they would help push. The manager Stacey instructed me to put the car in neutral and several employees came out to help steer it into a safe place. She was so apologetic and sweet and knew exactly what to do in crisis. She kept her cool and offered to get me some water and a muffin top on the house. I was overcome with emotion when she asked if I wanted a hug which was very much needed. I applaud the staff at Dutch Bros in Sherman because their service extends beyond coffee and muffin tops. I really hope the corporate office sees this and is able not only to reward her and the staff working that night(11/18/2023, 6pm), but to set the bar high for future customers. I will most definitely continue to come here as long as Dutch Bros Sherman...

There is no inside area and no seating at all. Its a drive-thru/walk up window place only, but the drinks are much better than starbucks, and the online ordering makes it super easy to see your options and customize your drinks, very delicious (and expensive) drinks, but not much as far as actual food goes. I think if they added more bakery items, I'd go more often. For now, it's an occasional treat place. I always get a medium strawberry smoothie with sweet cream, extra sweet, extra strawberry, coconut, and vanilla(costs $5.95 base, the sweet cream adds $1 so $6.95 for 24oz drink). My partner really enjoys their large rebel(energy drink) shark attack blended drink, extra sweet with sweet cream(a large is 32oz and has 160mg caffiene, costs $7.85 base, $8.85 with sweet creama, $0.70 for an extra shot, which has 10mg of caffiene each). You can add up to 4 flavors for free and extra sweet, sprinkles, whipped cream, 1 drizzle, and 1 flavor...

Coffee is average, wait time and service was very poor. Drive through took 30 min for one coffee. One would think that it’d be all hands on deck with a wait time this long but while waiting in line saw employees running out the back of the store because they knew someone in line all while making a scene, yelling and running around then ran back into the building. Pretty unprofessional scene all while customers are waiting in long lines. At the window we were handed our coffee with no interaction with an employee, no confirming our order, no greeting or apology for long wait…nothing. Employees inside the building from view of drive through were standing around, screaming, yelling over one another with their personal conversations… no signs of working efficiently or awareness of customers waiting in absurdly long lines. Obvious lack of management at this location, will not be back…average coffee was not worth the wait or the...
