Iāve never been treated so awful in my life. The front desk staff was very rude to me. It seems they would rather harm their patients then come up with other solutions. I was talked down to by the staff at the front desk considering I have over 20 years in the medical field. I have assisted surgeons with patients that may or may not have HIV, Hepatitis C, TB, etc. and I would have never refused treatment or harmed my patients because they may or may not have these illnesses. I always spoke up for my patients if there was a need, and never spoke down to them. They were also very rude to me when I cancelled my last appointment. It gave me the feeling that they didnāt care if I remained as a patient of theirs. Because I am a new patient they will not make an appointment for you unless they have the paperwork first. Is this where Healthcare has gotten too? Ā Ā Ā Read morePeople who work there are kind. The billing practice of the Catawba Valley Medical Center is backwards (note this is not the person in Sherrills Ford -she was as helpful as possible). CVMC double billed, apologized and then try and collect AGAIN months later after the issue was to have been resolved. Will be reporting issue to the BBB also. I will NEVER return due to their negligent accounting practices. Double billing for labs is FRAUD. I only went here twice in Feb and March of this year and paid over $500 out of pocket for a covered physical, labs and wellness. Now they are trying to charge $232 more for labs that were on the "covered physical"...
