We recently moved back to the area of LKN and were looking for a place to eat on Friday night. Surprised to see this place pop up with a 10pm closing, so we opted to head over. Outside seating was pretty steady, with the inside only about 5-6 tables occupied. We were immediately greeted and seated, and then our server came over. She suggested their limited summer menu if we were in the mood, so I decided on the fried chicken sandwich while my wife had their burger. All I have to say is that the chicken sandwich was probably one of the best ones I have ever had. The chicken was huge and absolutely perfect. Lightly fried, pickles, and toppings. It was just what I wanted. The parmesan fries were perfect as well. We both left and were completely satisfied with the entire experience.
Which led is into Saturday. We were left craving some of the menu selections we saw from the previous night, so we decided to head back over. As soon as I pulled around the corner I saw the parking lot was absolutely packed! I guess it was live band night, so we decided to go elsewhere. That didn't last long because we both knew what we wanted. So I called and to my surprise they had no wait and open seating. I never whipped a u-turn so fast in my life. We found parking and walked right in and were seated in their back room which was perfect. We could still hear the band but also hear each other, couldn't have asked for a better scenario. I opted to get the Asiago Chicken Pasta and my wife got the Chicken Marsala. The meal came pretty quick considering it was a full house. When I tell you this was one of the most filling and perfect pasta dishes I have ever had. We both left with to-go boxes, which didn't last long since we ate it within 30 minutes of getting home.
I must say everything from the greeting, the attentiveness of the servers, the quickness and the quality of the food, it was absolutely perfect. Since we travel back and forth between residences in South FL and LKN, we will certainly be back the next time we are up there. I'd like to consider this our go-to spot when we have family and friends come up with us. Kudos to whoever is running the show here! If it helps, we were check 131 on 6/28/25. Table 204. See...
Read moreEDIT: We have given it a few more tries and I’ve changed my star rating. . Sitting at the bar has worked out much better. The food is good, the problem is the selection is minimal, especially in the entrees department. I’ve heard the burger is amazing so I’ll try that at some point. Just not a lot of options.
The service was atrocious, but the food was worse!! My daughter got the macaroni and cheese and it tasted like penne in oil with bread crumbs! Sickening!! I tried ordering two things, both of which they were out of. It would have been great if the server told us first, instead of me ordering and then her standing there while I looked again to only find out they were out of that too! Menu is very limited! Mostly pizza and sandwiches (especially when they are out of 2 of the only 4 entrees) my husband got a panini and it was cold and unpressed, actually so thick he couldn't eat it. I ended up not ordering at all, except for the Italian margarita which also wasn't good. My sister got the chicken Parmesan and it was just awful! Probably the worst part is that one of their employees kept coming and sitting at a table beside us and hanging his head in his hand and moping! The owner was present and cleaning tables etc but never spoke to us, nor corrected his behavior. We waited forever for utensils! I saw the burger and it looked good... but it is supposed to be Italian🤷♀️ Also, the Sherrills ford Terrell town talk fb moderator is their friend and any negative posts about the place are taken down and you are suspended from posting if you say anything about the restaurant. So now the restaurant can thank their friends for this negative google review instead since we can't have a discussion about what needs to...
Read moreI really hate to post this because this is usually my boyfriend and I’s go to spot, but this experience was such a disappointment. We came on a Sunday around 6:30pm and our server at the bar was great and certainly not to blame. While all past experiences with various menu items have been great, we usually come for the burgers - best in town. They also have the best fries! Tonight was disappointing in the fact that they were out of the fries (it happens), but also the quality of the burger was just not the same. It started with the bottom buns being soaked and soggy and both burgers, in my opinion, being undercooked from the ordered temp…still edible. We were told they had an extremely busy weekend and were low on certain things…again, this happens. Halfway through my burger, I bit into a hair (usually unavoidable). Our waiter was prompt with apologies and comped my meal. As someone who worked several years in the restaurant industry, these things happen…however, I feel that management should be a little more diligent with advertising such changes and ensuring that their typical standard of quality, presentation, and care is upheld. Our waiter was apologetic and urged us to come back, which we will. But truly the worst experience with their food we have had (as regulars) since they opened. I write this review not to bash this place because we do love it, but to hopefully be an encouragement of improvement for management and...
