ALDI — Local services in Sidney

I only need a few items so after entering i opted to go without a cart to in turn use a basket or if nothing else a box i always remember them providing. Neither of these were present upon entering the building so i just carried the items i needed. Of course like most shoppers i spotted other items i spontaneously wanted but couldn't get them due to lack of hands. I also noticed a lot of expired food (meats, frozen meals, eggs). Instead of taking these items off the shelves they instead marked down the price. At home i will keep things longer than the expiration date at times but a store keeping expired food is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I hope a manger will begin spotting these issues so that small shoppers have a better experience and so budget eaters...

I could not believe what I witnessed in the Sidney location. A customer in line, with a loaded cart full of groceries, losing her mind over another customer, with just 1 item, asking to go in front of her. The employees allowed this lady to make racist remarks and use foul language with children present. Unbelievable. The lady with 1 item is white, the lady losing her mind with a full cart, is black. The black lady made racist remarks just because a white lady asked to go ahead of her. The cashier just sat there like this is acceptable behavior. I was sickened by this and I wish I would have defended the white lady. ALDIs do better!! Your employees should not tolerate such behavior in front of customers...

Aldi is definitely my first grocery errand! Prices always best everyone else. Any the food is certainly quality! It's not the same Aldi I went to 20 years ago. The prices are great just like they were then, but the quality of their products is much improved. Better even in a lot of cases than the regular grocers. They best Walmart with the price for their chicken breasts for the big pack and you can always count on getting the biggest, thickest and quality chicken breasts than anywhere else for sure.
