Buyer beware! Was explicit of what I wanted in a $10,000 purchase. A $300 item was incorrect. Called several times to resolve the issue and only received excuses. Salesperson was not knowledgeable in the merchandise she sold. So the customer pays the price for their mistake. Very unprofessional.
Update to my original review I failed to mention the positive, I absolutely love the Daniel Amish furniture and the tempurpedic mattress! It is the height of foundation and poor customer service that is the issue.
Funny, how you've twisted the situation in your response to my review. Oct. 29th I called salesperson and told her of the issue, which was I received something that I was adamant about not wanting several times during initial purchase. This would not be an issue if I never said anything about the height of bed. After receiving merchandise and looking on tempurpedic's website, I told her tempurpedic has an ultra low foundation and that's what I needed. Salesperson stated she did not know they had an ultra low foundation. How is the customer suppose to know of the products you sell if salesperson doesn't even know? Said she'd call tempurpedic rep, then call me. I never heard back from her. I had to call 3 more times. I got excuses as to why she didn't call me. She stated I would have to purchase another foundation. Seriously, for her mistake? Called sales manager on 11-11, he stated the foundation was standard in what they order and that he would talk to the owner and tempurpedic rep but it would be a few days. How is a standard order now a special order? On 11-14 manager had salesperson call me to say they are still waiting to hear from tempurpedic rep. Salesperson states the rep doesn't recommend ultra low foundation. Thought she was still waiting to hear from rep? The ultra low foundation isn't in the catalog. Why is ultra low foundation on tempurpedic's website but not in your catalog? I never did hear back from anyone. Your resonse to this review is the first I've heard from anyone since 11-14. Not once did I ever demand anything or did I ever ask for anything for free. All I wanted was to resolve the issue and how we could resolve it. You could have given me options on how we could resolve this, work with your customers so they return. Unknowledgeable salespeople, not returning phone calls, giving customer the run around/excuses and fibbing about the situation isn't how ethical businesses conduct...
Read moreBought a mattress from said company . Was told if I didn’t not like it I could return it. However, a week after purchasing the salesman called to ask us how it was. I told him it was not a good fit and I was thinking about getting a different one. Said sales person told me don’t worry to give it another week and if I was still unsure I had time to return it. Called two weeks later to let them know I wanted to return and was told management was not present. So Monday management called and said it was not there protocol to return anything sold here. Was also told “you are just another historical wife that did not get the right answer from her husband and is now calling to scream at him.” And was also told “well you laid on it in the store and liked it so why don’t you like it at home.”???? If it’s the protocol to not return stuff why did I have multiple people mention returning it? Or why was it not mentioned at point of sale. He offered for me to come in and lay on the bed all day to make sure “it was the same.” Then hung up on me. Very professional business guy if ya ask me. We purchased a sectional and rug for multiple thousands of dollars and were promised the products in 6-8 weeks, after 11 weeks we finally received our products and they were damaged. We were lied to about the warranty on the couch and the chaise being powered. After confronting them about our damaged products we were offered a discount on our furniture not a replacement for brand new furniture that hadn't even been sat on. They also admitted that they didn't clearly know what products they were selling because the chaise didn't even come in a powered option.
I am highly unsatisfied with their customer service and the way they treat their customers.
Our order was returned on their truck and taken back to Sidney. I will NEVER step foot in their store again.
