I will start by saying the people are very nice and I enjoyed the selection they have. I am also, overall happy with our specific sofa. We purchased our sofas mid-September and paid cash . When they arrived at my house, they were extremely damaged and I should have rejected the order immediately, but didn't since Sofa Selections took photos and assured me they will order the replacement parts right away. Needless to say, about 30 phone calls and eight trips in personally to check on the status, it took them 5 months to finally repair my brand new, paid for sofas. Every time I called, they said "we are just waiting on the manufacturer" until I had enough and personally went in and had them call the manufacturer in front of me. Wouldn't you know it, a few days later the parts arrived. This may have been a fluke thing, but I am very disappointed in the transaction and they didn't seem to have any urgency to help me. After all, they did already have my money. Without the damage issue, it would have been an amazing experience, but it definitely shed some light on the customer...
Read moreBuyer beware: bad experience - get everything sales people tell you in writing. I went in to buy a couch and chair, picked out what I wanted, was told there would be a 10 month wait. At that point I asked if I bought the furniture, would I be able to cancel. I was told I could cancel if I did so within three months. I decided against waiting, went back in the next month and the salesperson denied telling me that, said furniture was in production. All of a sudden the manufacturer is all caught up? I certainly didn’t pull the three month cancel out of the air! I’m sure to placate me, I was told they would call the manufacturer to see if I could cancel and they would get back to me. I waited a week with no word. I went back to the store and was told I could not cancel. Was the delay in getting back to me because the furniture was now for sure in production! Will not buy from this store again, nor will I recommend it....
Read moreIf I could go with zero stars I would. Over eight weeks after purchase of furniture, still waiting on repair of factory damage. Blaming it on the manufacturer whom I contacted on my own and said it is not at their fault. Will never recommend this store to anyone. Very very poor after sale service.
Update: called today to question why I was told the manufacturer had to decide how to fix the problem. The manufacturer themselves told me they were not the issue that it was sofa selections responsibility within the first year. Then, then owner proceeded to verbally abuse me, using every curse word imaginable. His words were I can't f'n stand you kind of people. Needless to say bbb has gotten a complaint from me and I have no plan on...
