If I could I would give 0 stars for customer service. My girls have been going to Adara Salon for months now. We are happy with the service, but the customer service is horrible. When the manager/supervisor is not around seems like the hairstylists do everything to work less. My daughter was scheduled for haircut/tinsel at 10:00 today January 20th. I was 20 minutes late. Yes, I understand was my fault and I apologized dozen of times. I was told my daughter could have only one service today because I was 20 minutes late. I had to push previous appointments to the left because the hairstylist was busy with another client and I never complained. I had tinsel appointments postponed to the end of the day because the hairstylist was running behind schedule and I have been always super flexible. During one of this late appointments my daughter walked out with 4 tinsels attached to her hair! I did not complaint and paid full price. But today I have had enough! While I was waiting for my daughter haircut, three hairstylists were just talking and the counter for about 30/40 minutes. Just chatting happily, while apparently they did not have time to offer the booked service, because I arrived 20 minutes later. Adara is not the only Hair Salon in town that does good haircuts and tinsels. And frankly I am not looking for a discount, I just want to be treated with respect. Obviously when manager/supervisor are not there, the workers do whatever they want. I walked to another salon right after with my daughter in tears and was able to book tinsels in no time. By the way, won’t be a bad idea send appointment reminders like every other Salon. But evidently you don’t care about your clients. Dear Owner, thank you for calling me back this morning and wanted to address the issue. In the past ( and in the future) I always reached out to the management team to resolve an issue. This is usually done through the front desk/receptionist who is trained to treat clients with dignity and grace....
Read moreCute salon everyone was kind until I had voiced my complaint. I went in for a trim, added cutting bangs/ layers and a gloss. I asked for 1.5 inches off my hair walked out with over 4 inches gone. I sat in that chair having my hair chopped for over an hour plus… I didn’t see how much was coming off because I need glasses to see which I had to remove. Once I left and got a home noticed they removed a ton of my hair. I proceeded to message the salon my complaint. Stating I had a great experience but not what I wanted they proceeded to gaslight me telling me to try and style it myself and I was given what I wanted… then offered me a blow out when asked to make it right. I said no thanks but you can give me half back of my cost for the haircut. They said nope, fine but a blow out is not going to help the panic attacks I had realizing 1 year plus of hair growth gone. I then sent them photos of the bad job and the fact that the gloss didn’t even take to my hair looks the exact same way I went in with. Told me I was told it’s not a permanent dye which I know I’ve had plenty of glossing done and never had this issue. Then today I send them a picture of my hair cut straightened and the layers are all wrong not at all done correctly. There are bunches together, it’s choppy and some places no layers at all. They proceed to view my message instead of actually addressing it. Honestly I get it sometimes there’s a bad day for people you didn’t give me what I went in for but to gaslight me saying this is what I wanted!? Not cool. This whole situation could have been easily handled if they just acknowledged their mistakes and maybe offered me a more experienced stylist to correct the work. They’re a new salon and it definitely shows. They also told me it’d be $85 dollars give or take I walked out paying $145. So just know there is no transparency and no accountability. The customer is definitely not a...
Read moreThis is going to be a long review but I promise it’s worth the read lol.
I’m typically a creature of habit, especially when it comes to my hair, so I’ve been going to the same hairstylist for nearly a decade. Recently I decided I wanted to try a new salon which never goes well for me, but when I saw the reviews for Adara, I figured it was worth the risk. And worth the risk it was! When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted and checked in right away which is a plus in my book. I could feel the good vibes immediately and everything looked very neat, tidy and welcoming (always a good sign).
Nicole was my stylist and she was INCREDIBLE. I originally wanted to get a shag haircut, thinking that it would suit my “easy-to-maintain” needs as I am nearly 20 weeks pregnant. But she kindly informed me that it was actually high-maintenance hair style and I would need consistent touch ups, which atm is unrealistic for me. She ended up taking it a slightly different direction, but the end product was exactly what I wanted/needed. Most stylists don’t know how to handle or style my long/thick hair, but Nicole was so confident and knowledgeable about her techniques and products that I trusted her entirely. She gave me all sorts of tips and tricks throughout the whole process, I actually left the salon with new hair care which I almost never do lol. So a massive thank you to Nicole for slaying my hair ;)
Overall my experience was a 10/10 from start to finish. I came in nervous and left the most confident I’ve been in a long time. If you’re on the fence about coming here, don’t...
