Salon Envy — Local services in Silverdale

I had my first and LAST appointment with Dianne A. a few days ago and it was the worst experience I have ever had with a salon or hair stylist. When we talked about what I wanted I told her that I wanted soft natural blended blonde full highlights and showed her some examples and told her ABOVE ALL that I hated any red, orange, gold, yellow or brassy colors in my hair and that I did not want any of that in my hair and repeated that to her several times. I also said that I did not like thick streaks or spaghetti looking highlights and that I like it to look more natural and blended. She then went on and on about her sixteen years experience and you can see the results of that "experience". The first thing my husband said was "Wow, you really went red this time" (wow, in a bad way). To make matters worse when I emailed her about it she took NO responsibility for it and even tried to blame my hair saying sometimes it can get "warmer"...are you kidding me? In 25 years of getting highlights I have NEVER had this happen. I normally go to a master colorist at Gene Juarez but my husband has been sick to I wanted to save a little money and now in addition to the 200.00 I paid for her to mess it up now I will have to pay another 200.00 to 300.00 to have it fixed. If you are looking for a classy salon with qualified stylists in Silverdale save yourself the headache and money and avoid this one. Salon looked decent enough but no ventilation and was a screaming baby half the time I was there. It may be pricey but at Gene Juarez I KNOW that when I leave there I will look great and they will stand...

So working moms day out and I was ready freshen up my hair. I had tried to get in at ulta and 1) they didn't have time 2) they told me I needed to cut off multiple inches and recolor my hair. I called around and Dorothy at Salon Envy said she could squeeze me in. After talking to an ulta hair dresser earlier I was pretty resigned to redoing my color and losing multiple inches from my slow growing hair. . Dorothy looked at my hair and suggested a split end treatment instead of cutting a bunch off and advised against adding more color to my hair. . I'm so glad I listened to her! Dorothy served me money on unnecessary services and really honed in on my style and what I was trying to do with my hair.

By far THE worst experience I've ever had a "professional" salon. I had the pleasure of setting up my appointment with DIANNE and we communicated via text, she assured me that with over 15 years of experience that she would not disappoint. To make a long story short, she forgot my appointment time and "tried" to squeeze me in, she didn't even remember the conversation we had. According to her she "Doesn't care if I post anything on Facebook or yelp, I'm an independent contractor." ....so here's your review. TERRIBLE way to treat new customers. I asked for the manager's information and she didn't "remember it." I feel bad that the customer she already had in the chair had to experience all of this. I'll be making sure that NO one that I know will visiting this establishment,...
