I worked with Brett and Lydia for about 8 weeks, and I got a lot more out of it than I ever thought I would! I was hesitant to do personal training with anyone. I was worried I wouldn't like it and that after a couple sessions I might even start canceling. That never happened. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy my workouts with these 2, but going to BC Fitness became a high point of my week. The work they have you do is challenging in a very good way. It never felt like too much. Brett and Lydia are both very patient, chill, hard-working, and attentive to your workout goals. Brett gave me a great amount of nutrition advice during our sessions, which has vastly helped improve my eating habits that I have fortunately continued to keep up with for several weeks now. He's also a great guy who isn't in this for the money. He genuinely wants to help people who are struggling with eating and exercise. He's excited to see your progress which, of course, will motivate you to continue to want to see it for yourself. Lydia is awesome at making sure your form is correct when executing the weightlifting moves and is very knowledgeable in her skills. She is also very sweet and fun to have girl time with! If anybody reading this is hesitant to start personal training for financial reasons just look at it like this (because I did): these guys are here to teach you how to do this stuff on your own and to be successful with your future health. Both my mental health and body composition have improved as a direct result of my partnership with BC Fitness Studio. Brett’s enthusiasm for your personal journey and his passion for health and fitness is motivating. He keeps things fresh and is always upbeat but doesn’t sugar coat. He will tell you honestly what is needed to achieve your goals and he will work you accordingly. I like that he is open minded and does not have a one-size-fits-all approach. I am vegetarian and middle aged and I like fast paced workouts; he tuned into all of these things and created a program of nutrition and exercise that suits me well. Read moreSince starting to work with BC Fit Studio my goals have started to become more attainable and my overall fitness level and confidence has massively increased. The workouts are designed specifically for me and my goals and are hard enough to be challenging while being reasonable enough to push through to completion. Before starting I was not at all confident with movements or form but since starting my mind-muscle connection has strengthened and it has amplified the results from my workouts. Brett is friendly and keeps your goals in mind while planning workouts and during training sessions. It’s encouraging to know there is someone to monitor form and movement execution in order to crush goals and set new ones.
