Just completed a stay at their property at One Ski Hill Place in Breckenridge, CO , unit 8215.
Wonderful company to work with , Communication was quick and made before I needed to ask about upcoming details. They make check in easy.
I've been renting in Summit county for 20+ ski seasons and this property is the top of them all. The check in process could not have been better. Unlike other properties this property is fully staffed and check in occurs at the property , no need to pick up keys or codes in town or offsite. After traveling all day it is great to just go directly to your final destination. A few days before our arrival we were given clear instructions for check in and given the access code to the lock box meaning we could proceed directly to the unit. Pulled the car up to the entrance and a friendly bellman greeted us and filled up two luggage carts to be brought up to the room. We really appreciated having that service available and sets this unit apart from others. Once in the unit, the first thing besides the spectacular view was the cleanliness and overall good condition the unit was in. Being a longtime renter, you get accustom to dings and dents that come with multiple visitors moving in and out every month, this unit was spotless as well as the entire property, very impressive considering the age of property. They definitely stay on top of upkeep. The unit has a huge patio to enjoy the afternoon sun. The ski lockers were great and the close proximity to lifts can't be beat. Out visit was for a family of 4 , but the layout of rooms and space would also be ideal of two couples. Both rooms have ensuite bathrooms and mountain views. We actually mistook the 2nd bedroom as the primary room, because both rooms and bathrooms were nearly identical. Only difference is the primary had a soaking tub. The kitchen was fully stocked and included many condiments, napkins and other small items you would normal purchase and leave behind. Communication was outstanding and quick. Finally having a front desk staffed, bellman, concierge and onsite dinning options puts the property ahead of many others. We will rent...
Read moreWhile the condo (East Bay 210) is clean, full of kitchen and bathroom amenities, and conveniently located near all the places we skied, our stay at the condo could have been much better.
We were a group of 4, so while 2 of us used the bed in the bedroom, the other two of us used the Queen-sized pull-out sofa bed. That sofa bed is the worst night's sleep imaginable. Incredibly uncomfortable, a flimsy mattress, and bar poking through. We were unable to get a good night's rest for the entire duration of our stay. We even tried putting the mattress on the floor one night, but the mattress is so thin, it wasn't much different than sleeping directly on the floor.
We were also unaware in advance of our stay that the hot tub was broken (and won't be fixed until the summer of 2023—the entire hot tub and surrounding deck are to be replaced), which would have been a deal breaker to begin with for us (as well as the crummy sofa bed). There is nothing better than a good hot soak at the end of a long day on the slopes to relax your muscles, but we didn't get that chance. It was extremely disappointing that the hot tub wasn't available.
Next time we come to Colorado to ski, we'll...
Read more5 Diamond Lodging set me up for January through April 2025 at Snowdance Manor in Keystone. The unit provided plenty of room for me and my (occasionally visiting) kids, the bed was very comfy, there's a hot tub downstairs, and it was surprisingly quiet. Given the covered parking, walking distance to the Peru lift and lots of ski area restaurants/bars, A-basin just 10 minutes up the road, and Dillon/Silverthorne 15 minutes away for groceries etc, this was the perfect base from which to ski my brains out this year. The 5 Diamond team did an excellent job of finding this specific spot for me (thanks Avi), negotiating the 4 month lease with the owners, getting me checked in/out, and answering all my...
