I would like to start by saying that the host was the best out of everyone. A group of friends and I decided to have dinner in Keystone. Never have we been treated the way that this “Mexican Restaurant” has treated us. First off, our waitress only came to our table twice. Firstly, to drop off water and then for our order. We asked her politely if she could bring us hot sauce. She agreed and never returned. However, the tables around us were treated differently. She made sure that they were taken care of constantly. By the time our food came, we informed the other waiter that we previously asked our waitress for hot sauce but she has not been able to bring it to us yet. His response was “well this is the first time I've heard of it”. Then stormed off. Our drink came after a 30 minutes wait. Which we were not even given straws. Even though the table beside us were worthy enough to receive them. The person who picked up our plates didn't say a word and never responded to us. However, was very talkative with everyone else. Our waitress decided to come back to our table after we finished our food and decided to bring us a “spicier hot sauce”, just in case the other one was not enough. Please explain to me how she brought us an EMPTY hot sauce bottle. My group could not contain ourselves and burst out into laughs. At that point there we were over this “Mexican Restaurant”. We asked another waiter (this was the 4 waiter we talked to) since our waitress never returned, for our check. 20 minutes passed and nothing. I had to ask the table beside us to get our waitress's attention because she deliberately ignored us. Thus having another female (which later found out it was the manager) approach the table. She continued to ask us what was going on and I responded with “we have asked twice for our check and no one..” she did not even allow me to finish my sentence when she responded smartly “ oh look, I have it right here”. If you are in the food industry then your job is to SERVE THE CUSTOMER. I am a FEMALE, HISPANIC, U.S. CITIZEN. My features should not dictate the way I get SERVED. If you are anything else then European decent DO NOT PLACE A FOOT...
Read moreThe food here is good BUT it’s not an authentic Mexican restaurant.. walking in they weren’t planning Mexican music, the lights weren’t blinding white, the servers didn’t meet the Mexican criteria, there weren’t rows of booth seats, there was snow outside, and then there was a wait. no Mexican restaurants have waits. Then the arcade games actually worked. There were many empty tables but we weren’t seated at them?? When we sat down they gave us glasses of water and then ordered drinks instead of immediately ordering drinks… then we realized there was free WiFi, no authentic Mexican restaurant has that. After opening the menu we saw the steep prices. We were given chips and then ONE bowl of salsa for everyone to share instead of a large stack of bowls and a glass. Then we realized more salsa costs money? Okay that’s crazy! Then the salsa was watered down and sweet. After quickly eating the chips we waited and waited for more… none came… NONE! Then they gave us a metal stand for fajitas instead of a wooden plate. There weren’t napkins with silverware wrapped inside. While eating we were thirsty but NO REFILLS WERE BROUGHT! After eating we realized there wasn’t more than enough food.. then the sweet but NOT MEXICAN waiter asked if we wanted dessert.. Mexican restaurants don’t have dessert. Overall it’s good food but not Mexican. Should be renamed to something...
Read moreIt’s hard to give this place more than 2 stars. The only reason they get that so because what we did eat was phenomenal. Our problem was with the service. Clearly the place was busy when we went in. We were sat right away which was great. Ordered drinks and some tortillas for our 15 month old twins to munch on while waiting on their plate. 30 minutes went by and we finally got our drinks. Another 10 minutes and I asked the waiter about the tortillas and all I got was an argument how they were extremely busy and didn’t have time to bring them. About 20 more minutes and they finally bring out the food that we ordered. My daughter ordered the cheese enchilada which turned out to be a “cheese roll up” which we were told they do this to better suit the pallet of younger diners and about a 15 minute explanation of how it’s not their job to explain menu items that are falsely titled or named. So the manager comes over asking what our problem was with their excellent service to which we described to him that we were great until his staff wanted to basically argue with a customer about how hard their job was and why they shouldn’t have to deal with a customer to which the manager replied with (well, what’s the problem?) hey bud, leadership and quality of service start at the top. To put it shortly, Great food...
