I’m not very happy with this rental considering what we paid for it. First, the shower with the jetted tub was clogged on the first night and stayed clogged our entire stay. When you showered in there you stood in about a foot of water, which is really gross. Second, the toilet seat in the bathroom next to kitchen was broken. Third, we spent an hour vacuuming dog hair of the sofa and out of the carpet, because every time you sat down on the sofa or the floor you were covered in dog hair. That’s fine if you like dogs inside, but I don’t like dogs inside and I sure don’t want to be covered in dog hair. I felt dirty the entire time. There was dog food on the kitchen floor at the base of the cabinet. So, whoever is cleaning isn’t doing a very good job. We shouldn’t have had to spend our vacation time cleaning. Fourth, there was plenty of extra pillows, but not a single pillowcase to put on them. So, if you wanted to use the pullout you didn’t have a pillowcase for the pillow. We also went to Walmart and bought extra washcloths, that we left at the condo for other guest. There were no potholders, so we had to use washcloths to get food out of the oven. The location of the property was one of the main reasons I rented this unit. When we got there the elevator closest to our condo was out of service and was out the 5 days we were there. Which would have been fine if you weren’t trying to carry ski boots, poles, and skis. We had to walk all the way around the building, down the elevator, and then back across the parking garage to the outside(it’s not a small parking garage either) or I guess you could have walking down the stairs with the ice and snow. Then you had to walk to the ski resort. Needless to say we did that one day, the next day we drove and paid to park. So, that was a real let down, because the unit is advertised as a convenient walk to the slopes. Checkin was really easy. Nice size rooms, great views, and plenty of cookware, but over all we weren’t happy with what we got for the...
Read moreI stayed here from Aug 18th through the 22nd. My condo ended up having a HUGE LEAK from the upstairs shower that came through the ceiling of the kitchen and all over the floor and counter tops. Not to mention water was coming OUT OF THE LIGHTBULBS IN THE CEILING. Major safety hazard. When I called front desk I was asked if I could wait until the following day for someone to come. I said no problem and they said they will be there between 10am and 11am. They showed up at almost 2pm…then proceeded to tell me that they can’t fix it right now and I will not be able to use the shower. Said front desk will call with refund options. Well this women named Veronica called me (who clearly is the women everyone keeps talking about) and said “just don’t use the shower, anything else I can help with” without so much as apologizing. Then when I mentioned that we were told we could have a partial refund she says “I’ll give u $49”….FOR A 4FT CRACK in the ceiling that’s pouring water in to the kitchen?!?!?. I proceeded to say we should not have to pay any cleaning fee because we were told they will be taking down dry wall to fix it anyways when we leave. After Veronica RELUCTANTLY agreed, she refunded us the cleaning fee. After the stay I proceeded to write an honest review without even trashing their name out of goodwill. Well Veronica then writes a review saying “difficult guest”. Because we had a major leak and safety issue that couldn’t even be addressed while we SLEPT IN THERE. I then proceeded to reply to her review so everyone can see what actually happened and she deleted it to hide the truth. Joke of management at this place, trust...
Read moreI don’t normally write reviews, but this experience was so bad it needs to be public.
My family stayed with SkyRun from July 3rd to August 2nd. When we arrived, the fridge was broken, all our groceries spoiled, including food for a 4th of July family meal. Management promised to reimburse us and comp a few nights. What really happened? They only paid half the grocery bill (even though I provided receipts) and never comped a single night. That should’ve been my red flag.
Still, I gave them a second chance. I’m here on official military orders and planned to extend my stay in Keystone by mixing work with family time. I received a promotional email offering 30% off a month long booking. The manager, Zack, sent me a quote. I confirmed, got the email, and was told my reservation was fine, until minutes later I got a call saying they “couldn’t afford” the discount, the manager “took too much off,” and they jacked the price up by $800. I have the messages to prove it.
Instead of honoring their own written quote, SkyRun chose to gouge me. That’s not poor service, it’s dishonest and disgraceful.
As an active duty military member, I live by honor, courage, and commitment. When a U.S. business treats its troops and families this way, it says everything about their values.
To anyone considering booking: steer clear of SkyRun. To property owners: think twice before trusting them with your unit. They would rather leave your place empty than admit fault and treat guests fairly.
SkyRun Keystone, make this right. Honor the quote...
