First time pregnant mom went in because I couldn't find any other store that sold cribs and this was a recommendation. Aside from the prices being higher than they are online for the same crib and style. The woman's cold demeanor ,that thought maybe I was too young And that she can intimidate me to get a sale.( I'm in my thirties). When I told her I was looking at second hand cribs because they're in my price range. She said if I got a second hand crib my baby would die " If you get a second hand crib your baby would be decapitated" and then proceeded to try to sell me on the mattresses, They have ( vinyl )because "she" survived a vinyl mattress and it would be fine but not the mattress I had wanted to get that was breathable. The entire experience was very upsetting all because this lady wanted to make a sale. To tell me my baby would die as a first-time mother if I didn't get a brand new crib outside of my budget by a good $800+. Tell me that the Newton mattress would kill my baby but their vinyl one would be fine. I had bumpers in my crib when I was a baby. Doesn't mean it's right. I am very fortunate that I had someone buy the crib for me that I did not want behind my back. But I would not recommend this place because if you don't buy their product they we'll say anywhere else.. your baby will die. I've been in the child sector for over a decade and this is one of the stores that will do anything and say anything to make a sale. Even try to intimidate fear tactics onto a new mother. Please stay away if you have a bad feeling like I did upon entering this place, it's for a...
Read moreHmmm where do I begin. The entire process was an absolute nightmare. The first set of furniture we ordered for our son came from some foreign country and absolutely REAKED of formaldehyde. We had to open all of our windows and doors in the middle of winter and still could not get the smell out! We were told that we needed to scrub it down with baking soda and vinegar and even that did not cut it! After lots of discussion we were told that we could bring it back but only allowed to trade. We then traded for a different set only to wait another 6 weeks for that set and then be told "ooops they forgot to put your order on the truck" when we voiced concern over everything their response basically was "these things happen, get over it" When we did finally get our furniture, my sons night table was completely unattached (factory problem) and I called about that, only to be told that they would come fix it but would charge me a service fee to come out (please explain to me how I need to pay a fee for something your factory messed up?) and then I would need to wait a few more weeks for them to get there because they were "BUSY" The beds are extremely wonky to put together, they are poor quality for the price you pay, and the customer service quite honestly SUCKS!! I have contacted both Maxtrix and Kids to College to try to make it right with me, both of them blame each other, and neither one wants to take responsibility for anything! Do not waste your time on this overpriced furniture, I promise you...
Read moreIf I could I would give this store a 0. Run from this store never buy anything from them. If there is a problem they do not offer any solutions. Do your research there are many people complaining about this store.
We bought a bed from them 18 months ago, one of the end rail came in completely scratched and some of the slats were warped they refused to do anything about it, because they said it had been discontinued which they never told us before we bought it. We finally called the company and they sent us a new rail and slat. About 2 weeks ago the bed collapsed with my son sitting on it. We went back to the store they wanted to sell us a new side rail for $112 with out the hardware to install it. We again called the manufacturer who sent use a new rail with the hardware for Free. They also said they were well aware that this store did not stand behind...
