I’m not trying to be that person, but I went to buy a book for school and during checkout, I was asked did I want to get magazine subscription and I kindly declined. The cashier, who was male, told me it would be very easy to cancel and that I had to cancel it before the end of the month and that it would really help the store. I still said no, and he still proceeded on to tell more how after I cancel I would have NO problems with it charging my card as long as I canceled it before that date. I finally agreed, because I thought I was being helpful. I cancel it before the date and nothing was ever charged to my card. That was November and now it’s February. A charge of $75 was attempted by the magazine company and I’m furious I was told as long as I cancel BEFORE THAT DATE I would be ok. The representatives at this location are great! I had the best Manga conversation with them for a good 20 minutes while they helped me place an online order for the new Demon Slayer boxed set. I could have placed my order myself the night before, but thought that I could just pick it up in store in the morning on my way to work. Little did I know that it was such a hot item and a collector's item at that so it was already on hold/purchased by the time I got there the next morning. Selection trending toward more toys and collectables. Most retail book stores have similar pricing so variety and quantity are of importance to me. I grow frustrated at this location always hearing "We can order it". Magazines are a dwindling thing in today's world, but quite a few are still published, I found their selection lacking and only slightly bigger than the big box store. Employees are polite in general, but last few times seem more interested in conversations among themselves than a customer waiting. They the only game in town.
