I am a former employee and loyal customer of this store. I love the atmosphere, the staff is very friendly (I normally do not like to be talked to or bothered while I’m shopping, but I have always had great conversations with the staff, even before knowing any of the employees), the selection of clothing is always up to par, and the constant sales and deals are enough to keep me coming back. Shopping in the store is 5 stars in my opinion, however, my low review is guided towards the selling/buying process. The employees are well trained on what to buy and I am never dissatisfied when they go through my items whether I sell something or not. My issue lies in the process of dropping off my items, I am always told that in about 45 minutes I will receive a text to come back for my items In this time, I’ll walk around the shopping complex or drive somewhere in the area. This wouldn’t be an issue, if the time for buying was actually 45 minutes. After I’m done looking around the complex and shopping and various stores, I’m waiting in my car for hours. Out of my many times selling here, only about 5% of the times that I sell here am I waiting 30 minutes to 1 hour; the other 95% of the times that I sell, I am waiting anywhere between 2-5 hours for my items to be sorted through, regardless of if I have a good buy or a bad buy. Never have I received a text, I always have to go inside after waiting for a long time, and then they may go ahead and sort through my items. I feel that the customers should come first before doing any stocking, hanging, or pricing for the store. I understand and know from experience how the store can get busy, and I know that the employees do not want to spend all night stocking and cleaning once the store is closed, but from working here I have seen how the store works and also how the employees move slowly. In my short time working here, my coworkers were always overly shocked and surprised at how fast I worked and completed tasks (this happens at every place I have worked because I normally focus on my job and tasks and don’t spend a lot of time fraternizing with my coworkers), so I know this is a speed issue/multitasking by trying to have fun/talk and work at the same time, which most people are not able to do efficiently. I would not have an issue with waiting long hours for my buy if I was told in advance that it would take 2–6 hours, but the fact that I’m told 45 minutes and it takes forever, plus me having to constantly call the store and ask and it still not being ready for hours is utterly ridiculous. It’s just the principle of giving an accurate time for me to come back for me. Please just let your customers know an approximate time of how long the purchase will actually take whether that be 10 minutes or 10 hours. And I dnt know about the associates being in high school or slightly older because they all look much much older. Ok, brought w/me 3 items- each item never worn & more importantly were items dat are currently trending/in style. All name brand. But when I came back 2 see how much they assessed my items for I was told $0. Even da associate who attended 2 me was confused as 2 why I didn't receive an offer for my items. So she priced them again using "their system". It was explained 2 me dat although I may have in season never worn items what plays a major factor is da need of any of da items I'm trying 2 sell. OK dat makes some sense. They don't want an overload of items dey already have in stock. Why i left so disgusted and upset (besides the god awful smell) is when da associate asked for a 2nd opinion on my jeans the guy had the audacity to dismiss them saying their not in trend, the wash of the jeans is not in style yet dey were expensive guess jeans bought from a guess store. On top of dat da way he was dressed he look like shaggy from Scooby-Doo a very bad version and the jeans he had on was the same wash(color) of the jeans I was trying to get sold. Every single one of da associates were dressed like a hot mess and they didn't have on anything dat was in style or trending. So what I'm saying is if your going to be a resale/retail store that emphasizes being trendy, clothing in good condition then the workers who are sifting thru da clothes and saying yay or nay shld look trendy and presentable not raggy looking and hair looks like it hasn't been washed. Read moreunfortunately I was extremely disappointed and unhappy with my latest visit. I came in to drop off some clothes wasn’t expecting much but it all consisted of decent brands and trendy pieces some items were only worn once. I gave them two baskets which I was expecting a good hour wait which the lady at the counter said it’ll be about an hour and i’ll receive a text letting me know my stuff was ready. an hour passes by so I decide to go in the store and shop while I wait out the remaining time. it had been well over and hour over an hour and a half even and I received no text. I was fed up and asked to see if my stuff was ready and of course it was and judging off the other reviews it seems that the employees and staff specifically at the snellville location just don’t seem to care about wasting their customers time. when I finally received my items which I brought about 40 items which I wasn’t expecting to have them all accepted but to only have 4 items pulled out was disappointing. I was told that the clothes I gave “were great brands but outdated” and that took me by a major surprised because while walking around I saw victoria’s secret jackets which I still have at home which are AT LEAST 5 years old when most items I brought in were bought within the last 2. half the items in the store were outdated so I would find a better use of words before I would tell a customer the clothing is outdated especially when the items that are available for sale are outdated already.
