As we are in our last year at Big Star 🌟 (Senior in high school) I’ve started to reflect on what the future holds and the transitions that will take place next year. Our family has truly been blessed having been a part of this studio/community. It really has become part of our family. Corey, I cannot begin to thank you enough for fostering and nurturing such an amazing space for our kids to grow and thrive. The teachers you have brought in are magical human beings that have taught our kids what it looks like to take risks and be brave - skills that will stay with them for their entire lives. Forever grateful. 💚🖤

My daughters started with Big Star in a summer production and we’ve been beyond impressed and grateful for their exceptional programs and supportive community! They’ve participated in multiple full-scale productions, dance classes and private voice lessons and every instructor has been phenomenal. Most importantly to me as a parent is that they strive to develop good humans first, performers second. The kids are so supportive of each other and the parents are wonderful too. I’m so grateful we found Big Star as it’s been an incredible experience for my theater kids!

Big Star is one of the best things that has ever happened to my daughter, and honestly our family. From the first time we walked into the studio six years ago, it has been a very inclusive and welcoming environment with an overall feeling of community. Teachers are top-notch, working professionals in the industry who truly care about the students. My daughter wants to spend time there and often asks to go early to be with her friends. It's a fun and exciting place to be. I couldn't ask for a better experience. It's truly a COMMUNITY.

I cannot say enough wonderful and positive things about Big Star Performing Arts. This is more than just a school, it turns into your family and your children's extended family. Every single member of the staff is so incredibly nurturing and supportive and leans into where your child is in their journey and figures out that thing that makes them shine. I've seen my son grow from an awkward, uncomfortable 12 year old into a super confident performer on stage and that is all due to the love and attention he has received as part of the Big Star Family. Their Competition Performance Team is wonderful program that stretches the kids in so many ways, and it says a lot when your studio wins the award for "Best Sportsmanship Backstage" several times in a row! They are taught how to be part of a team, take responsibility for their piece in the greater "whole", take feedback and incorporate it into future performances and all kinds of other skills that will serve them well in later life. LOVE, LOVE,...

The school has a good setup but for self-sufficient and grown-up kids only! Our daughter is 2 years and we enrolled her at a pre-school for the very first time. It was more than obvious she would have not been comfortable initially and would have resisted being there by crying. We had explained this to the teachers as well during the meet before the pre-school started. However, on day 1 after dropping our daughter she started crying and my wife was asked to pick her up in 30mins itself. 2nd day in 10mins and third day though my wife was downstairs in 10mins she was asked to be taken back! Do they really think a 2yr old will not cry? The owner is very rude and we were even charged for the 3 days she was there. Pathetic and not recommended at all! Wish there was an option to not give 1...

Our son had always shown an interest in performing, but he has been hooked after his first day at Big Star. His love for the arts has become a passion that will last a lifetime. From a parent's perspective, we saw his self-confidence grow exponentially. He has a leadership presence in other aspects of his life, and I have seen him eagerly take on challenges, such as public speaking to large crowds and engaging with strangers, without hesitation. The lessons he is learning at Big Star are far beyond the singing, dancing, and acting skills he first attended and will support him throughout his life. Trust me, his performing skills have improved...
