Never have I ever had such horrible service. I brought my engagement ring in to get it sized, they told me adding sizing balls on the inside would be a good choice. I looked and tried on their sample ball sizing ring- it was clean and comfortable. When I came to pick up my ring I was so excited that it would finally fit, I didn’t look at the craftsmanship (because I trusted them), I just put it on and flung my hand around making sure it wouldn’t turn on my finger. “Perfect” I thought!! I wore the ring for about four days and it started hurting me so I had to take it off. It was pinching me so bad I had indents in my finger. Then I realized the balls looked nothing like the sample. Extremely un-symmetrical. The ring was literally pinching my finger, so I brought the ring back. I told the owner exactly what I just shared. He asked me if I lifted heavy weights or hold the steering wheel too tight and accused me of bending it. I said most definitely not. It’s platinum. We continued to talk and he, again, asked me the same questions about the steering wheel and lifting weights. So disrespectful and unprofessional. Take responsibility for your mistake. The ring looks horrible, it’s extremely bent. My wedding band and the balls attached to it are not the same size and the soldering looks amateur.
I also purchased my wedding band and paid for my ring to fit properly at the same time because they couldn’t resize it until after the wedding which was fine.
I’m not a materialistic person but I have cried and cried over this. It’s my wedding ring the most important symbolic material thing I have!! I told them this and I didn’t even receive a verbal “I’m sorry” or “we will make this right”. Every time I Ieave this establishment I feel even worse than the time prior.
Also, my husband went to go pick up the ring after dropping it off to be fixed because we didn’t want to pay 3,000 dollars to square the band. When he went to pick it up it was not even in the building and the person working had no idea where it was. He had to call the owner to find out the ring was at a jeweler’s house who was out of state in Chicago. I was unable to get my engagement ring back for five days. This place does not take care of paying customers. I still don’t understand how my ring ended up leaving the store when I had not agreed to the work. There is no accountability for their poor business operation.
Thanks for making me hate my engagement ring. Every-time I look at my ring all I feel is disappointment. This company literally turned something that is meant to be sacred and precious into a heartbreak. Please save yourself time and don’t waste your hard earned money here. Please save yourself the headache and heartbreak.
They also didn’t even offer to give my money back.

Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience with this bench jeweler. Their craftsmanship is subpar, and their customer service is just as bad. After three attempts, they still couldn’t properly fix my grandmother’s ring. The first repair was an absolute disaster - sharp edges were left behind, scratching her skin, and part of the repair was left unfinished. It was both embarrassing and unsafe. To make matters worse, they returned the ring dirty, without even bothering to clean it. After wasting so much time and money, we had to take it elsewhere to be fixed properly. Save yourself the frustration and go to a jeweler who actually cares about their work. I cannot...
Read moreI have done a lot of business with this family run business and I trust them with all my fine jewelry pieces. But this custom piece consisting of my parents wedding rings done in house is amazing! If you like supporting small businesses like I do and want your jewelry handled in house and not sent “somewhere”, this is the place; especially if you want...
