Placed a nice order 24 hours in advance of picking it up. When I arrive to pick it up it was in the to go box. I decided to check it out before heading home because it was a large order. I noticed that a pastry ring was missing from the order. When I took it back to the counter and asked the young man behind the counter about the missing item he said we don't have any. I asked him why he didn't let me know prior to placing my order in the to go area and his response was that the customer always brings it to their attention and they fix it at that point. I asked him what would have happened had I gone all the way home and noticed it ? It would have forced me to make a trip all the way back in so why not be friendly to the customer and help us with the problem before we leave the store. I asked for a manager as that was certainly an inappropriate response. The manager said that they always put a short order behind the counter and when the customer asks for it that's when they let us know we are short an item (which made sense). The employee shook his head and said they never do that. They always assume that the customer will notice an item missing and bring it to their attention. They wouldn't even give me a credit without putting the entire order back in the system and then rebilling my credit card with the missing item. Ultimately, the manager subbed out my missing item with another item because I didn't want to take the time to go through the entire credit process all the while the employee behind the counter was rolling his eyes. Very unprofessional. I will never go back to the store. We love their salads and usually order at least three times a week. We are usually shorted bread but usually don't say anything because we don't eat the bread. This was just totally unacceptable Behavior on the part of the Panera...
Read moreI have been eating at Panera Bread for years. In fact, at least 3 times a week. Once, I found out that Panera offers ordering online / app, I started using it. I had such a terrible experience today. First, I ordered online salad at 11:06am and my order shows will be ready at 11:16. Before they started my order, I decided to eat inside instead take out. So I told employee in advance that I want to eat have salad here and half to go. She stated no problem. I was waiting till 11:35 am and then I found out they putted my salad at Rapid Pick up. So I took my order back and asked same person to split my order half to eat here and have take out. She said no problem and asked another employee by the name Marina. So Marina, threw my salad in bag away and said she is not going to do it and left back in store. Other customers were shocked as well I was. When, Marina came back, I asked why did you throw my back. She was rude and disrespectful. In fact other employees had to come her down and asked her to be quite and polite. She did not care. I want, Panera Bread to be aware of employee like Marina and terminate. I dont believe this the value of Pan era Bread.
Beside my order took long time, plus they did not accommodate my request and on top of that rude employee who throw away my order and did not care and left to the back store. My service was Zero today.

Read moreThis place's service is beyond bad. It actually makes me FURIOUS. My children like their food so we go there more often than I am willing to. The line is always long. The person who works at the counter is ALWAYS NEW.
On 3/2/2018, it took us more than 20 minutes in line to place orders with a BRAND NEW person who clearly has no clue how to work the station. We ordered 3 items, all of them came out wrong. Even the person who's putting the food together got frustrated and yelled at the register's direction.
So I decided to opt for rapid order online the following days. My daughter has a swim meet and we have to leave town early on 3/4/2018. I was delighted to find from the Panera App that I can pick up my rapid pick-up at 6:35am. When I get to the SOLON location however, the people won't open the door. I knocked on the door and one lady reluctantly came. She just pointed to the sign and mouthed "we open at 7" and turned to leave. I waved my phone at her and let her know that the APP said I can pick up my food at 6:35. She again, grudgingly opened the door and said, "WELL YOUR ORDER IS READY BUT WE CAN'T GIVE IT TO YOU BECAUSE WE OPEN AT 7". After some exchange plus ONE PHONE CALL because she left during our conversation!!!, she finally grabbed my already ready food for me.
I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS RIDICULOUS...
