Gene's Camera — Local services in South Bend

Most of the staff here are excellent and very helpful, but I have had one or two experiences here where I was helped by a gentleman who acted like he really didn't want to help at all. They do great film scans and prints at amazing turn-around times and reasonable prices. Wide selection of cases, filters, camera bags, straps, lighting, lens caps, film, frames, photo paper, and anything else you would ever need. Decent used selection of old Nikon F-mount and Canon EF-mount lenses, and bodies. Probably my only issue with Gene's Camera is that the only cameras/lenses they stock brand new is Canon, Nikon, and Sony... No L-mount at all, which is unfortunate considering L-mount now has just as many lenses available, if not more, compared to Canon RF for example. If they would stock Sigma L-mount lenses, I'd be buying all my future lenses...

Rented tripod for couple days at good price for astro photos at Indiana dunes. Staff was very friendly, and looking to visit again next time in area to talk more astro with owner who teaches classes (?) in astrophotography. Real camera stores with friendly staff are far and few between these days....

Great customer service, hubby picked my pictures up, one roll was blank and a credit was given but they called the following day and offered a refund! Check sent! If you need anything video/picture related this...
