Stay away if you expect at least mildly decent customer service or food

Flew in to see family for the holidays and decided to play some pool. The blonde bartender seemed to be the only staff on duty in a building full of people. I couldn't get her name but apparently she's the owner's daughter

From check in to check out she was extremely kurt and you'll be able to really feel her lack of enthusiasm for both her job and customer service if you get the displeasure of meeting her

Her directions to our table were ambiguous at best (she waived at the entire room)

The food was bottom tier. Paid 6$ for a ham and cheese that had a single slice of ham on it like you would expect out of a thin slice lunch meat bag. The bun was obviously microwaved and hard. Made the dollar menu on certain big chain fast food restaurants seem like 5 star cuisine in comparison

She forgot to bring me the water I ordered and ran off so quick I couldn't even let her know so I had to walk all the way across the building to remind her. When I did, she wasn't apologetic at and it was really obvious she just...

Livingstons and the Marlow's are like family to me. The pool community in itself is great. I joined Livingston 6mths after Jesse and Teresa bought the place mind you this was when the COVID pandemic just started they were closed for weeks. When businesses were allowed to operate again, they were kind enough to give me a job bartending and serving. After 3yrs of being there majority of my time. I decided to go to school to become a barber and both Jesse and Teresa supported my dreams and I was able to become a FL licensed barber and I thank them both from the bottom of my heart. I have seen the transformation they have put into having one of the best pool halls in all of manatee and Sarasota county. They have diamond tables that are very well taken care of the staff is great and no matter what you always feel welcomed when walking thru the doors. If your looking for a place with good food great music and an all around great environment I definitely recommend you taking time to visit if you haven't yet. I promise you'll return again...

I've only been here a few times and the last time will certainly be the last. There's tons of pool tables and you can smoke inside which is a plus for us smokers but at the end of the night the bartenders wanted to go home early and we were in the middle of a game. She got really nasty and rude and started screaming when I told her we would leave as soon as we finished our game, unless she was willing to refund us the money we paid for that game. She threatend to call the police and I told her go ahead, I'm not breaking the law and that I would speak with her manager in the morning. Long story short, she called the police and completely lied to them and said I was being belligerent and drunk. Of course the cops took her word for it and they forced me to leave. Talk about poor customer service and horrible injustice....
