Very disappointed in the customer service. To start, the lady at the counter watched me try to hold the door open and push my stroller in without offering any help. Upon entering and she then ran off to the back. I have been in the store for at least two minutes when the owner came up from the back telling me that I could not be in there with my stroller. She suggested leave it outside. Not ideal really as it was raining, and I’m 7 months pregnant. Carrying around my 11 month old while shopping isn’t ideal either.

I left which was a bummer as I could have easily saw myself purchasing a few items. She watched me leave and also no offer to hold the door.

I expect since there is a home town festival happening geared towards families, you may have many parents with strollers visit your store today. When I was in your store, there was one other shopper. I know my limits with pushing a stroller and would never try to squeeze into a tight space.

You also have a ramp leading into your store? A wheelchair is much bigger than my stroller… would you ask them to leave too?

I do love coming here. I’ve been here probably 10-12 times since I moved to the area. I’m always determined to buy something but scamper away empty handed every time. I just cannot justify spending 2, 3, even 4 times more than I would elsewhere. I really do struggle with this. I do love to support my community and small businesses but this is a bit crazy. I might pay $20 for an item in this store that I could get elsewhere for $10 but I won’t spend $40. Example: I went recently to get big candlesticks pillars. Looked at all of them. Beautiful. They're a step above, with excellent customer service. They remember their customer's names and are always willing to help you find what you're looking for or make helpful suggestions. They also don't bug you when you spend time attending to all of their beautifully chosen store items (taking your time). There's something here for everyone. They have amazing gift ideas and you'll have a hard time not walking out with something for yourself. We're so fortunate to have this amazing small business in SL! It's a must visit...
