Twisted Cork Winery — Restaurant in South Lyon

Let me paint the picture... Here we were roaming the streets of Northville on a Sunday evening. It's our week off. We wanted something to do. We come upon this little haven of delectable wine. Twisted Cork of Northville. We were not aware of this Sauvignon sanctuary as it had only opened up 2 days prior.

What followed was a sophisticated symphony of wines so exquisite, our taste buds filed a noise complaint. The wines presented were made by Twisted Cork themselves and provided a little "Traverse City" to our home town of Northville. The wines were smooth, sophisticated, and delicious as if I were drinking a glass of Keanu Reeves.

If you like oaky intense wines, I recommend the twisted double barrel Cabernet. And if you like a smooth but not super sweet white, the RBF Reisling is sure to fix your RBF.

I went with some friends this past week and was so impressed with the grand selection of wines they had and the wonderful hospitality! They have a variety of wines, from fruit wines, reds, whites, sparkling, and even dessert wines! All of the wines I had in my flight were delicious, smooth and rich, with a unique flavor profile. I am not a typical sweet fruit wine lover, but their “Going Goji” wine is out of this world good! The location was small but cozy, and allowed for an intimate experience with friends as we enjoyed great conversation over our wines. We tried their Spinach dip for appetizer and it paired well with our samplings. The owner came by several times to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely amazing owners. My girlfiend and I had lost faith in wine tastings since a bad experience in Cincinnati. We tried 2 flights for 15 bucks each (great pours) and then bought 5 bottles for later. Definitely coming back any free chance we have. If you've stumbled upon this review, don't even hesitate, just go. You'll thoroughly enjoy the experience and the owners are very helpful and intuitive with their menus. Go. Now.

Finally made it back after months of having way too much workload to drive but we just visited today, the 30th of September, and once again excellent service and amazing wine. Finally could bring 2 of my 4 growlers back to get a refill of their Berry Bubbly. Absolutely love this...
