They should really make mI’ve been here 3 times before with friends. It was good service then. I decided to bring my husband for the first time. And this type of disrespectful service don’t deserve my money nor my time. My husband was appalled at the service, the ridiculous price and the manager behavior. Horrible horrible place to go. Definitely if you don’t look or act like the people there. Definitely didn’t feel welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. We watched them give good service to the people ahead of us and behind us. We were discriminated against the moment we walked in. Standing in line one server walked right over me without saying excuse me. Poor manors. Spent $40+ on 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks to get a disrespectful server with an attitude. When she brung our drinks to the table she basically threw my drink at me. Pushed my straw back into my drink. Her hand almost went in my drink. My husband asked for a straw. She rolled her eyes walked away to grab the straw. Comes back and throw my husband’s straw at him on the table. My husband looked at me because the service was disgusting. At that point we got up and asked for a refund. When we walked to the counter they were messing around. Mind you we still haven’t received our food. The one girl was playing around with gloves on while she made our food. The manager a grown woman I think wasn’t very good at managing since her attitude was repulsive. Her attitude and demeanor was just as worse as the children working. She asked why I wanted a refund and I told her horrible disrespectful service. She said fair enough and left it at that. She also left it for the child on the register to handle. No apologies for the disrespect or service. Just a fair enough, as if she knows how they treat people is wrong. This was one of the worse services I received in a long time. They expect you to tip when you order the food while giving horrible service. Server and manager extremely stuck up for no reason. The cashier was decent. The place have good reviews but it’s a joke if you want good service and a decent price. Honestly paying $40 for things that definitely should cost under $25 the service should be A1. My 11 year old daughter has...
Read moreI had an early morning coffee with a college friend of mine before baby sitting my adorable little nephew. I had driven by several times on my way home and was excited to give it a go. Here were my observations:
Atmosphere: A rustic place that had its own little touch of unique displayed. The food preparation and coffee area appeared to be clean and well managed. The bathrooms were well maintained and stocked as well.
Food/Drink: We only ordered coffee, but what I found interesting was the unique offerings. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a coffee shop/ice cream parlor/whiskey bar/small eatery before 😂 This is a place you can grab a delicious morning coffee, then an afternoon lunch, have an ice cream with friends, and then a night cap at the end of the night. Truly a unique experience to be had.
Service: The barista was kind, informative, and prompt.
Price: I spent less than I would for a craft coffee drink at Starbucks and the drink itself was ten times better.
My favorite part was the fact that they were open at 6:30, so you can grab a cup of coffee before work. Most cafés, outside of the franchised ones, aren’t open early enough to get a coffee before work. I avoid franchised locations and prefer to support local businesses, so being able to get my morning coffee before work was lovely.
Overall, I’d recommend coming here for coffee, and I’m excited to come back to try out their...
Read moreI’ve been here twice in the last couple weeks. Both times resulted in long wait times to get our orders.
First time, we were waiting out a storm, so the wait time wasn’t too much of an issue. Plus, we were given excuses why it had taken fifteen minutes to get out first order (they’d told us someone had forgotten to speak up that the order had been completed) and 45 minutes for our second (they couldn’t find us at our table so a staff member stuck our pretzel and cheese in an oven to stay warm). No had yelled out order, and we’d never moved from our spot.
The second, we were using the spot as our resting point in our walk. We each got drinks and an order of soup/bread for both of us. We THOUGHT it would be quick to throw some soup in the bowls and add the dipping bread. It took an hour. The lady who took our order even came by to apologize for the wait and said it would be “right out” and it took another fifteen minutes. No, we weren’t in rush, and I used the time wisely, I just don’t understand how a milkshake, a frozen coffee drink, and two bowls of soup with bread, takes an HOUR.
We’ll be looking for a new...
