Surf's Up — Local services in South Padre Island

My family and I come down to Padre once a year and always rest a golf cart and shop here. Normally we have no problems. This time we did. We tried to return our cart the first night as the brakes weren’t working. They wouldn’t let us. Said they fixed it. We then that night ran out of gas, breaks stopped working and wheel was barely hanging on on the right side. We were stranded for a half hour. Our mother is elderly and has COPD and we would have had to walk 2.5 miles home. Nick the manger said he would give us two free hours and Gabby the manager said they would discount us to buy more time. They do not do partial refunds. It’s sad to me when a place cares more about money than safety. I will say Edith and Matt were great. They seem to really care about our predicament. Not sure whether we will be back. I give this place -1 stars! They double charged me for chairs on my credit card! 1 transaction, 2 charges! They ripped me off $32.45! Its not alit of money but Its the point! When I confronted them about the this error, they gave me a number to their credit card machine company and would not refund me! They looked up their receipts and confirmed that i was double charged for 1 transaction, still no refund! Now im trying to get a call back from this credit card company who said I would have my money put back into my account but still I have no money returned! I am now back from vacation and am far away to return to the store to continue to dispute this! My advice is to Pay with cash, dont pay with card! Better yet, go to...

If I could give negative stars, I would! My friend picked out 2 shirts off the clearance rack that were marked buy one get one 50% off. We waited in a long line and the cashier said they weren't buy one get one 50% so he asked another woman employee, who right away, said they weren't sale items. After I chimed in, she told my friend to show her the rack. They both went back and to the rack and left about 12 people waiting in line to check out. Even though there were about 20 of the same shirts on the rack she said someone just put those there. She was VERY rude. I just left my stuff...
