I was installing an inground pool and needed a landscaper to fix up the yard after the pool and patio installations were complete. Amaya came highly recommended and Jaime and his crew did not disappoint. I submitted a request for an estimate and Amaya was immediately in contact with me to set up a day to visit the property. Jaime is very pleasant to work with, listens to your ideas while offering his own, and clearly has the experience with the type of project I was undertaking. He had no issues returning to the property a few time to discuss other landscaping matters that came up during the pool portion of my backyard project before he even won the job. I knew he had full command of what was required so he became the runaway winner of my job. He was also willing to work with me on price, which was a bonus.

Amaya is a one stop shop for your landscaping needs. In addition to grading and other aesthetic improvements he made to the pool area (pressure treated wood boxes for plants, decorative stone around the equipment to make them much less of an eye sore, reseeding of the lawn, fixing up existing garden beds), they also do hardscape work and storm water management solutions. They installed paver steps to connect the existing patio to the pool area and did a really great job of making it look like the steps where there from the beginning. This was the first task they undertook when starting the job and confirmed right away that I had hired the right people. They also installed the storm water infiltration trench that was required by the town due to the size of the pool project and made sure it blended with the overall landscaping of the property.

Amaya brings the attention to detail when doing your job of someone who is not only good at what they do but takes pride in what they do. They want to leave you with the best backyard possible. I recently moved to a larger home in Annandale, NJ and was not prepared for the amount of lawn maintenance/management of the property. By the beginning of Spring we saw the weeds starting to appear and naively thought we could do the yard work ourselves with no problem. In a matter of a month, we were staring at a forest of weeds in all of our garden and mulch beddings. We finally caved and started the search for landscapers. I called Amaya Landscaping, which are located in South Plainfield, NJ and Jamie called me back. Although I wasn't in their zone of where they worked, he said he was willing to come out and check to see what needed to be done. Even to his surprise, he couldn't believe how the weeds were so overgrown, but with confidence, he stated it was something he and his team could tackle in a day. I really was skeptical at first that he would be able to get it cleaned completely but once he sent over the pictures after the job was done, I was floored. It was like night and day. He and his team were able to not only remove ALL of the weeds from the mulch and garden beddings but he cleared the weeds that were growing through our driveway and walkway pavers. My husband and I were extremely impressed with the amount of attention and care they exhibited to making the garden and mulch areas look so clean. They were able to restore the look of the property back to how it once was when we first moved in. I could tell that he took a lot of pride in wanting to produce quality work. I can't say enough good about Jaime and his crew. I left a message and got a quick response and he was here within hours to give me an estimate. He was upfront, honest and more than fair in his assessment and pricing (our cleanup was a big job with different aspects needed). I was expecting the job wouldn't be able to be done for a while, and to take more than a day, but within 2 days he and his guys were here. Three of his crew got here early and without hesitation started immediately after they got their equipment out.  Jaime came a little later with more guys and equipment, they too got straight  to work.  They were all very professional and hard working, as well as being polite, personable and friendly. Everything was done (plus a few extra requests) and done within one day.  If I could give them 10 stars I would.  With the extensive range of services they offer, this will now be my 'go to' company to call.
