Worst experience ever. I asked about the 9.99 special which comes with a burger , drink and side but the hostess or server weren't sure what I was talking about. That's where it only got worse.
The server NEVER got us silverware or napkins. I had to ask 3x. Someone else got them. The drinks took 15 minutes to get.
The food was good but that's the only good part of the experience.
The server seemed to have an attitude and it wasn't that busy there.
I go to pay for the meal and the check was wrong. They overcharged for the burgers and even charged for the ice tea which was supposed to be included. I asked to get the check fixed. I showed the server the error and she says the drink isn't included. I explained to her the email from red Robin showing the deal. She was clueless. She made it worse. I asked for a manager and was told he doesn't speak much English. What kind of restaurant hires a manager who doesn't speak English? You're in America 🇺🇸 and if you serve people you need to speak the language in the country you work in same as when I travel abroad. What language you speak on your own time is your business but it is my business if you are a manager trying to talk to a customer and can't communicate.
In the end it must have been a lie because another man comes over saying he's a manager. He asks what's the problem? I said we had a horrible server when just 3 weeks ago we were there and had a great server whom we tipped 30% .
At this point my server comes over and raises her voice and says she doesn't appreciate my tone of voice. She was loud so I was extremely angry and I replied I don't appreciate being treated this way as a customer. She replied "good for you" and walks away. The manager apologized but offered absolutely nothing for the disrespect given to my party. We were embarrassed in front of other customers including 2 people I know who were sitting at the next table. I couldn't believe the difference in service just 3 weeks earlier vs. Last night.
Ironically the server from 3 weeks before came over and apologized. I even explained to her that we tipped you 30% but last night was awful.
One more thing: The manager said I cursed at the server because she told him so which was an outright lie. She was angry I called her out for bad service. My friend witnessed the entire thing and knows I didn't curse. In the end a 40 minute experience took 90 minutes when the place was empty. If red Robin doesn't fix it's mess they'll be the next chain to go out of business.
Hopefully when we eventually go back we'll get the server from 3 weeks ago and not last night's server. Go at...
Read moreDon't get me wrong with the amount of stars, the food was great, when we got it. The downsides now. The cups were chipped, having sharp edges where children were grabbing the cups to drink. No napkins or cutlery at the table, you have to ask to get either, even when we did, the server forgot to get the napkins, and came back telling us there wasn't any cutlery. One of the things we ordered was Mac and Cheese, with no cutlery. Eventually we got the spoon, so somebody was lying, but it took 2 more trys to get the napkins. This issue continued throughout our time there, with the server returning with only 50% of what we asked for, if that. The servers were nice and understanding, but never wrote anything down, and I think that may be part of the issue. We left before we were able to get a refill on any of our bottomless options, steak fries, lemonade, root beer float, sweet potato fries, you name it, we probably bought a version of it, and we never got our refills, 25 minutes is just too long to wait. Luckily they had the tablets on every table so we could leave without having to wait any longer. I'm genuinely sorry for leaving such a bad review, as I said, the food was good, and the servers were nice, but with them rarely doing their job efficiently, it was not worth the wait. Unless you have time to kill and the patience of a Saint, I wouldn't recommend...
Read moreThis place is the furthest thing from gourmet. Besides the fact that my stomach is in knots, we had the worst service ever. Upon arriving at this location, we were seated near the bar where we waited 15 minutes to place an order. I had to ask the hostess if someone was coming to take our order. A few minutes later we were finally greeted by Matthew who said he was busy with other guests. Between Matthew and the rest of the staff there tonight, no one was helpful and literally everyone was on their phones half the time. I ordered a chicken sandwich with bottomless fries to share with my toddler. The order took ridiculously long to come out. As we were getting close to the end of the fries I ask for a small amount more of the fries. 20 minutes went by and still no fries. There wasn't many people at the restaurant so I don't understand why the service had to be this bad. I'm now home and my toddler is crying saying "more fries please". So thanks for ruining my child's night and mine. Such a waste of money coming to this place and ordering the bottomless fries when we couldn't even get a second order because we were ignored. I will never come back to this location again and for anyone reading this just know you need to have a lot of time on your hands to wait for mediocre food that will give you a...
