Mariscos De Pasadita — Restaurant in West Valley City

Thank you for giving Utah a great Mexican restaurant!! I moved here from Colorado almost 4 years ago and have not found anything even close to the quality of great Mexican food that Mariscos La Pasadita serves. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. The menu is fairly expansive. There is not tons of seating, but the there were enough seats available to find a table. Now to the good stuff...the food! I had a chili verde burrito con pollo and it was incredible. The first bite I felt like I was being elevated to food heaven for a moment. You know that moment when the food touches your tongue and your eyes close for just a moment, but in that moment of joy and flavortown bliss you feel like you are in an alternate universe because the food it THAT good?? That's what happened to me. Love at first bite is an understatement! I will 100% be coming back regularly! The tortilla was freshly made and tasted amazing! The chicken was tender, moist, and perfectly seasoned. Then the green chili...mmmmmmm...green chili...I am a green chili lover and I have to say that Mariscos La Pasadita has the best green chili in the entire state of Utah, and is definitely one of my top 5 favorites I have ever had. The heat was spot on. The consistency was on point, not runny, not too thick, just right! Do not hesitate stopping by this spot. You will not regret it at all. I ordered from here and i ordered the "burrito de camaron" the picture showed the burrito smothered with lettuce on the side for 9.99 the app gives no options! You just choose qty and add to bag that was it. When my order arrived i got a plain burrito not smothered and definitely no salad on the side!! I called to complain and the lady was very rude!!! I told her to change the picture then and she insisted on me not saying i wanted it like the photo!!! And...

Would love to give this place a 5stars because the food is delicious. But their is a problem with this restaurant, they do not give you receipts on your orders so they make up prices when they charge you at the end. It used to be my favorite place to go until I found out they OVER CHARGE YOU ON EVERY SINGLE ITEM. What we should of paid for $40 dinner we ended up paying $70-80.
