Burger King — Restaurant in South Salt Lake

Had some issues with the manager. I had to repeat my order multiple times. It wasn’t that difficult and then he told me to come to the window and I had to repeat the order twice at the window too. I asked for my drink and ketchup and he seemed irritated that I was “asking to much” The survey on the back of the receipt says s/m/l drink and a small side item to get a free whopper for taking the survey. Both times I did the survey I asked for 1 large drink and a small fry and then the free whopper and they only gave me a small drink and continued to tell me I was wrong even though on the back of the receipt it says any size drink. There was this cute older lady working on the freestyle machine and she was so sweet and we talked for a little and she asked the manager to get my drink for me back there and the manager said “I’m working on drive thru you’ll have to wait” getting two small drinks for your customers is NOT a hard task to do. I was a manager at Wendy’s for a couple years and I would get chewed out if I didn’t help a customer with such an easy task.. there is a gentleman that works at night that remembers me every time I come in and when he hands me my food he says “I have your ketchup on the top” cuz I ask for ketchup every time I come in. So to me it seems like the crew is going above and beyond to satisfy the customers but both the managers that I encountered weren’t very nice and acted like they had better things to do. My order was misunderstood but the service was ok and they corrected it. The Texas Double Whopper was terrible. I've had dozens of Texas Doubles over the years from all different locations, and it's been a favorite of mine. It's a big, beautiful sandwich with lots of great stuff, peppers, hot sauce, onions, really a great sandwich that I normally love. This one looked like a bun with nothing. It had the mandatory 2 slabs of meat, one or two peppers in the middle on top with a pickle, I think. There was a trace of some kind of sauce detectable on the upper bun. The bottom was dry. I had to take it home and fix it up to be edible. I have had a good sandwich from here before. I'm going to give them another try maybe in a couple weeks and see if I get the same garbage again. If they bring out a decent Texas Double, I'll change this review. Update: I'm going to 3 stars now because the Texas Double was fixed up right, but it came out barely warmer than room temperature. This was AWEFUL! In the drive through they started out by saying "order when you're ready". When my husband took a second to look over the menu and ask what I wanted she immediately started saying "hello.... Hellooooooo" into the speaker. My husband calmly told her one moment. When we started to order my husband said "I'll take a crispy chicken sandwich an..." She cut him off by saying "is that ALL?" Forcefully. He finished his order of 1-20 peice and 1-10 piece and 2 large drinks". She responded with "okay so a 20 piece is that right?" He said "no the 10 and 20 peice." She said "oookay" very snarly. When we got our food the chicken nuggets were COLD in the middle. All of them. I wouldn't be surprised if they left them out for way longer then they are supposed to. They were also soggy. Absolutely disgusting. We were already too far away to head back because we were on a time constraint and were stopping for a quick lunch. I will not be going here again. Which I'm sure is no skin off the backs of the rude staff. I recommend tearing it all down and starting over..... The McDonald's down the street did it. Now it's your turn...
