About a month or so ago I bought some new tires. I went out to my car a few days later to find out that one of the tires was completely flat. I called to see about getting it checked out if I put some air inside of it and was told that I would have to set up an appointment and wait. I am an Uber and Doordash driver so my car is part of my job. I went down and grabbed some Fix-A-Flat from the gas station and was then drove to Sheetz in order to get some air. The next week the check tire pressure came on in my car and whenever I pulled over to get air, it was the same time and whenever I pulled the cap off, you could feel and hear the air coming out, so there was a problem with the tire they had put on. I called again, and was told to set up an appointment. The day of my ball joint busted so I couldn't make it, but was called to come in early because they were closing early? Told them the situation and didn't even bother asking about setting up a new appointment. This past weekend the check tire pressure came on again and sure enough, same tire was blasting air when I removed the cap. I called and got a hold of someone, asked to get transferred to TLE and they tried three times before I said nevermind. Called the 1-800 number, expressed my concern in which they tried to call the store, had me on hold for about five minutes while they tried to get a hold of TLE and ended up talking to an Asst Manager. Told him the issue I was facing, took my information and said someone would call me and while I was still talking, either he hung up or the call was dropped and did not attempt to call me back. I got a call from someone in TLE as I was driving up the hill and told them, never mind, I'm almost there. There was no cars in the bay and two tech's working. They took my car in to check and I walked out for a cigarette. As I came back there was three people standing around the service counter, my car was lifted up and I could hear them talking about the car, saying that it was the air stem and that the check tire pressure gauge might be messed up. Mind you, at no point in time did they figure it a good idea to tell me this issue. You think you'd want to keep the customer informed on what is going on. I heard them call for a member of management back, and thinking they weren't even going to bother talking to me, I started walking away and say three members of management walking up. I bought a drink and when I was walking back, I saw the three manager's walking away, none of them stopping to talk to me about what was going on whenever they saw me back there. Agitated I walked out for another cigarette and while outside, I saw the three managers, once again, walking around outside, which is poor management if you ask me. As I came back in, I could see that my car was no longer up, two people at the service counter, and once again, not a single one of them said a word to me. I waited by the open door to the customer waiting area for someone else to come up to me and another customer, letting them go first he proceeded to try and ring up the work order, but had messed up. He waited for a CSM to clear the screen for him, called twice on the walkie-talkie and had another wait time between the first call to canceling the screen for about five to ten minutes. The problem was resolved thankfully, but the level of professionalism, customer service and seemingly attitude and lack of concern to the customer was horrible. As a former store manager, customer service has always been my top priority and the way this TLE works is just horrible. When my landlord said about coming there to get his oil changed, my only response was 'Good luck' and in retrospect, would've told him to go someplace else since they don't care about their job, the customer's or have any sort of pride...

When I finally was able to get a hold of somebody, I gave them all my information, including my tire size. I scheduled an appointment to get new tires and ended up doing an add-on oil change after I got there.
The front desk person seemed really overworked. Line took quite a bit of time; I arrived at one and didn’t get seen until almost 1:30. A general manager came up to the desk, interrupted my service, to snap at the front desk person and stood there while other customers waited. That’s when I start to feel like this wasn’t the best idea. Red flag number one is a GM that is “above” stepping in to help staff. They apparently had no information about the appointment aside from my name. So I went through all that again, and walked out to my car with the gentleman to give him my tire size. Even at this point, I’m hopeful that the hoops I have to keep re-jumping through will pay off when I have new tires.
I do some shopping to pass the time for the hour that they had allotted for service, and return to the front desk, waited another half hour to be seen, only to be told that they “couldn’t get the Lug-nuts off” to change the tires. Front desk guy notes that my car has been done for quite some time and someone should have let me know.
My tires haven’t been changed since I pulled this car off the lot from the dealership. I guarantee you the people that actually change my tires will have no problem getting the Lug-nuts off.
This is just my observation, but I think that the overarching issue is that this is a very understaffed location of staff who are probably burned out. Walmart needs to hire enough people so that customers get adequate service. I’m sincerely convinced that they turned the business away because they’re overwhelmed with work, especially after reading some other reviews about this “lug-nut” excuse.
