I was excited that this location opened up. However i will never return. I purchased a "made for macys exclusive" Michael kors coat, with an "original" price of $400 but marked down to $160 for black Friday. I owned this coat less than a WEEK and only wore it TWICE and the gold metal belt loops completely fell off!!! Now I understand the return policy but I also know for a FACT that it is up to the manager's discretion as to whether or not any exceptions are made to the store policy. I went back to the store with my coat and my receipt in hand to seek out an even exchange. I spoke to the manager Amanda. Everything about this woman was rude especially when she said to me "can't you read? The return policy is written on the receipt". Excuse me?? I know how to read I'm a college-educated woman! I was just hoping that a place like Macy's could be understanding and stand behind the quality of their product. It's a coat valued at $400 and it fell apart in less than a week!!! I didn't even want a refund, i loved the coat! I simply wanted an even EXCHANGE. Well since Amanda decided to be so cold instead of providing good customer service, i got my money back through my bank. I guess Macy's would rather be hit with a CHARGE BACK instead of making the situation right and simply doing an even exchange. And i even told Amanda that i would be contacting my bank. She still did not care. I feel so insulted and disrespected. I honestly don't think I want to shop at any...
Read moreI went to the Macy’s at Arroyo Market Square in Las Vegas to make a return, and unfortunately, my experience with the associate named Rose was very disappointing.
From the start, she repeatedly emphasized that the items I was returning were “third-party items.” She mentioned this at least five times, even though Macy’s website does not clearly indicate when something is third-party. Instead of helping me feel reassured, she made me feel uncomfortable and like I was doing something wrong. At one point, she even asked me if I was “in the habit of returning third-party items,” which I found condescending and unnecessary.
She also kept asking why I was returning the items, telling me they were “nice.” I explained that I had purchased them for an event, but all the guests were told to wear black, and the dresses were not. That should have been enough, but frankly, the questioning about my reasons for returning them felt intrusive and not her business.
On top of that, she kept telling me the process would take a long time, which only added to the negative experience. Rather than providing assistance with patience and professionalism, I felt berated and ridiculed, as if I were a child being scolded in a store. By the time I left, I felt terrible and even found myself in tears later when I told my husband about it.
I truly hope Macy’s addresses this type of behavior because no customer should leave...
Read moreThe selection is good for the size. The reason for the poor review is the customer service.. I was in last night checking out and wanted to use a gift card I was given and there are numbers on the back they need.. the cashier proceeds to scratch it with a coin which actually caused it all to smear and mess up the numbers. Then she says they are never like this and last time she saw one like that it had no balance.. WHAT!? Then a manager steps in and still saying how something is wrong with the card and their machine says it has no balance. I panicked because the card was just purchased at the Summerlin location and $200 is on there. They tell me there is nothing they can do for me and to call the 800 number. I get home look at the back make out the numbers and call the 800 number, turns out nothing was wrong with the card. They just didn’t want to help me out. Next morning got clothes no issues with that card at all… just say you don’t want to help, or that you are sorry and you messed up. Not that it’s my card and make someone feel like they have a...
