The atmosphere of this place was stunning. It was beautifully decorated. They accommodated my dietary restrictions smoothly. We got the Queens Tea. I got the almond tea and my friend got the pomegranate. The tea wasn't great quality despite it being loose leaf tea. It came from Adagio which is always a guessing game of it will have flavor. The first cup of two tastes great but by the end the flavor wasn't great. I removed the tea bag almost immediately because I wanted to avoid it being bitter. Might I suggest using Metolius Tea, SerendipiTea or even Harney and Sons or Republic of tea if you want to use loose leaf? I know Adagio is affordable. Perhaps I'm just snobby about my tea. Those teas listed are at least a bit of a higher tier of tea quality. Also, it confused me that the tea was loose leaf and then put in the pot. Could we not just have it put in the pot and given strainers for the tea cup? Some of the tea fell out of the bags and settled in the tea pot and ended up in my cup after being poured. It was nice they gave a timer to let you know how long to steep the tea. On to the food. We didn't get clotted cream with our singular scone or nearly enough jam. The butter tasted like it had been left out and uncovered in the fridge. It has a gross flavor to it. The bread seemed like it was dry as well, almost stale. But the sandwiches were soft. Like, are you freezing the bread or what on earth would make it dry out like that? The chickpeas sandwich didn't have a great flavor but I appreciate them having vegan options. The corn tart was good as was the cucumber sandwich. The hummus bowl tasted like Sabra hummus scooped out of a container and served with a few small slices of bell pepper. The dessert on the top tier were hit and miss. The cake was a good flavor yet dry. The custard was my favorite. The cream puff tasted like it came from one of the bulk containers from Costco or Sam's club. The butter cookie also tasted like it came from a container from a bulk store as did the macarons they added. They were sweet and brought me a individual serving of creme brulee (which also has a date stamped on the side like it came from Costco) with a candle and they didn't sing. Thank you for not singing, it is embarrassing for everyone involved. It's a good price point but I wouldn't go back. Definitely have room for improvement. I feel so bad because it seems like it's a mom and a daughter and running this small business. I love supporting small businesses but this left much to be desired.

I always lament the lack of real teapots and tea cups in restaurants in Utah, so wanting to treat me, my husband booked this for us. The tea (we chose Peach Bellini and Rooibos) were excellent and abundant. The sandwiches were tasty, and the couple of sweets were nice too although tasted store bought and the chocolate mousse was not good. The staff were very friendly. The scones while nicely flavored were not very British, very hard and dry. IMO one needs to serve butter, then preserves (preferably raspberry) then cream, but debates arise on this subject. I did appreciate about this place that they didn’t make a big fuss about having to reserve so far in advance. That said, considering the rapidity at which the tower was served, why exactly they charge $38 for what costs so much less to make remains a mystery to me. Having hosted a bridal shower high tea with 15 guests and purchasing the sweets but making sandwiches, I spent about the same as I did for two people here. The main downside of this Tea terrace is a matter of entirely personal aesthetic and musical preference. Plenty people seem to like the decor. The old crooners were playing at a volume making conversation a bit more difficult. The decor was just overwhelmingly kitsch. Everywhere you look there are tea cups and tea pots dangling from the ceiling, chandeliers, displayed on shelves, hung from the walls. Not even the toilet was spared. IMO this actually detracts from the elegance of a high tea. I much prefer a simple, clean, cozy decor with an elegant but coordinated tea set over a mismatched set and the neon bright “WE LOVE ALL THINGS TEA” filling up every inch of my vision.

Mood- life isn't the same when you aren't in elementary school

Do you remember being a kid, running up to someone on the playground or the park grabbing them and saying WE ARE GOING TO BE FRIENDS. And ultimately that is how your new extended family started. Now as adults, we can't do that. People frown on it, and as adults, we have trust issues and the ultimate ( what are you trying to get from me). Needless to say, making friends is not easy in person. Prayer/ Vision Boards/ Manifesting goes a long way when you are lonely and seeking out friends. But you have to be open to allow your belief system to work and bring forth the people you need. Today was an answered prayer 4 me.

Upon entering was quickly greeted. The owner was awesome. And I'll admit I was dressed for a Audrey Hepburn event while my friend just came from the gym. Our wires of attire were crossed. But what is nice about this place is that there are pieces you are able to put on and wear during your party.

At first, we were indecisive about what to order until the owner mentioned a tea tasting, and for me, it was settled at that point. Royal High Tea with the added addition of tea tasting, which includes 3 pots of different flavored tea. We had Chais, Rooiboos, Ceylons, Pears, etc....Everything was beautifully put together. Even the displays used to present the food.

Interior is enchanting. There are a few tables that are adorned with chairs to capture the moment you are trying to achieve.

I believe moments are what you make of them. I've seen previous reviews, and I can say honestly we were not treated in that fashion. I can say I took in the entire experience, and it was great. For me, life is about the moments and the big picture.

Would most def recommend- pricing is a reflection of quality, presentation, and atmosphere. I'm truly intrigued by the back page portion of their menu, so I will be back. The customer service we received was great, not intrusive to allow for us to engage in the experience and take in the moment.

Location is Rainbow/ 215 -...

I made reservations for my 4 yr old to have a tea time experience as we don't celebrate birthdays and she recently lost her father. wed been anticipating this day for months. I called to make a reservation for my child , 2 of her cousins and my sister in law n mother in law. I explained to the woman who took my reservation that other adults might attend and she said if 6 or more adults attend id need to secure my reservation with a credit card. it turns out just the kids n 2 other adults were confirmed. so on the day of the tea party we all dressed up in white gloves n pearl necklaces and headed to the event . I called while in the car and told the girl we were en route . to which she said " I gave your reservation away" when I asked why she said "u never put a credit card on file" . I said "we were only a party of 6" she said "well I gave ur table away " . by this time I had pulled up to the place and went inside the establishment where I saw 3 of 6 tables occupied. I explained to her that I had a car full of excited children to which she suggested I drive to henderson n try queen of hearts , (which incidentally would have closed by the time I drove there) .I asked her to please accommodate me and she offered to get me in the week after Halloween. to say my baby was heartbroken would be the understatement of the century . Ill never forget how sad she was for the rest of my life and the lack of empathy this woman had was incredible. ill never rebook with these people because they had not a care in the world for the position they put me in and ill never understand why they couldn't just dial my phone number to let me know they were canceling my reservation n prevented all of this, they had my phone number and email address . and the fact that they couldn't just accommodate my small party of mostly children absolutely baffles me. atp I'd rather create my own experience for my child rather then allowing them to be crushed by heartless adults n id highly suggest you do the same , to prevent u from experiencing the pain I...
