Crown & Anchor British Pub — Restaurant in Spring Valley

They closed the wrong location! This Crown & Anchor on Spring Mountain needs to be demolished! I'll start with the server, "Ana S". Rude with an attitude from hell. She needs to do something else because her demeanor is just nasty. She couldn't care less about her customers. It took 50 minutes from the time we ordered our breakfast for it to arrive at the table. When it did, we wished it hadn't. It was disgusting. We chose the "Full Monty", as it is supposed to be a traditional English breakfast. The eggs were uncooked. The toast was stale. The foreign material they referred to as "English Bacon" looked like roadkill and was cold and nasty. The fried tomato tasted sour and had clearly turned rancid. When I mentioned this to Ana, she stated that it was how the English made their tomatoes. My boyfriend, who is from England and knows an English breakfast, disagreed. But Ana stated that it was just fine. Everything was cold, including the coffee. Ana insisted that it was just brewed. Well, better check the coffeemaker then because this coffee sucked. I explained our dissatisfaction with the entire experience to "Miss Attitude". Her response was "Okay". No apology. No concern. No doing something to make up for the fact that we were probably just food poisoned. NOTHING. We obviously will not be returning to this dump. It looks dirty, and I can only imagine what horrors exist in the kitchen. Incidentally, a couple sitting nearby ordered the Fish & Chips, the house specialty. I pray those people are alive after consuming that meal. I could smell that fish coming. It stunk. Of course, fish shouldn't smell fishy, so clearly it was old and bad. This Crown & Anchor should give it up. It's filthy. The service is horrendous, and the food is dangerous. Take my advice and stay away. It's nothing like the "Anchor" on Tropicana that just closed....

Normally this place is great but tonight I had probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a bar. The bar tender completely ignored us, I had to have male patrons order another round for us. We had no service from the Bar tender. When we decided to call it because the drinks were bad. My beer was fine but the mixed drinks had issues my friend couldn't even finish hers. I went up to the bar tender JAMIE set the darts down and kind of threw my card at her. She asked why I was mad and I told her her service was awful. She said she didn't do anything. That was the problem! She spent so much time grinding and rubbing on all of the guys there and ignoring or being rude to us I was upset. She proceeded to add extra drinks to our tab then further insulted me by telling me that if she looked like me she would be miserable and proceeded to insult me. Only further proving my point.

The manager was there, I complained about her service prior to this because it was unacceptable. She threw our tab at us without us asking her to close it after having other guys order our drinks. We also tried to order food and she was extremely rude about it. When I asked for darts she banged on the bar and made me go get the first set when I asked for the 2nd set she put them on the bar and didn't even tell me I had to find them myself.

Jamies service and attitude was by far the worst I have ever experienced and that was before she proceeded to insult me, over charge me, and continue to insult me while I tried to work out the correct total with the manager.

I don't even known how you start this review went with a couple of friends and order a couple of burgers , bill was $160.00 and I left the server $17.00 on the card and we where leaving her $10 cash on the table, she didn't even wait to see if anyone was going to leave her anything else , The bartender who's name is Jaime, complained to one of the customers and they decided to come confront us. Let's start by you should never complain to your customer because you literally had these people run us out of the bar and cause a big scene and it could of gone worst . I could not believe what we experience, I talked about this place highly to my friends as my bf and I have been here several times and the gentleman who helps us is always so nice, this woman needs to be trained in customer service, I'm sorry if your tip was not enough. This was clearly the bartenders fault that we literally had to leave because I as a woman felt threatened. I hope your $27 was worth it , Thank you , This is the first and last time my friends will be coming to this bar . By the way I ended up giving her and additional $20 so she had a $37 tip for putting my life in danger . im definitely not EVER COMING BACK. This Jaimie should be fired for putting the customers in danger & provoking altercation , oh and to top it off today wile i was reviewing our bill we had 2 sides of chicken breast added to our bill that we NEVER had so and extra $10.50 charged for something we never had.
