Gordon Restaurant Market — Local services in Spring

Placed an order Thursday to be delivered Friday. Order was confirmed. Gate code provided. Delivery driver to incompetent to input 4 #s, and leave order per instructions. Rescheduled delivery for before 9 am because we had a gig to attend. Delivery order not there. Call woodlands GFS store. Got manager Keysha and a dismissive attitude, told I'd receive a call. I did not. Called back. Put on hold. 3 calls again ignored. Total of 45 minutes on hold to speak with the manager again. Apparently this is an amusing game, childish antics. Keysha finally answers the phone again. Says driver will call. During a previous call i requested the order be rerouted to location it's needed. Was told that would be okay....driver/manager Morrison finally calls. Tells me the public place I need order delivered is unsafe even after i told him id be there to accept delivery. Prefers to drive a further 45 minutes out of the way to deliver to the place he couldn't get delivered to yesterday. Makes no sense. So it appears, yanking the chain of your customer, dismissing requests for customer service, and giving attitude to someone that has 3 accounts with GFS is more amusing than actually providing the service they're being paid for. I'll be contacting corporate about the employees they've chosen to represent their image...

The good- nice and clean, some variety. Some good prices on a few items. The freezer section is nice for a large gathering/party.

There’s a flavored popcorn stand near the front of the store, didn’t have a sample but looked cute.

The price on produce is really nigh along with some staples (a regular sized box of cinnamon Cheerios was $7.99!). When I was checking out, the lady scanned my item and it came up as $25 instead of $17.99. It rang out as a completely different item (I think someone had put a UPC on it). Make sure you’re watching the prices when you check out.

This store is great for any small business and has a lot of cool snacks big popcorn 🍿 11.99 for a 4ft popcorn bag. A lot Mexican candy and snacks fresh squeezed juices made daily and very convenient because it’s local. If you’re looking to make this your local grocery store, I don’t think it’s the place to go grocery shopping they sell more in bulk. However, it does have unique items that you won’t find at your local grocery store. Great place to just check out and find unique things you won’t find at your local...
