Bought 2 tires from Amazon with mount and balance service at this facility. The process was smooth until I dropped the truck off. Took too long to figure out the order system then took 4 hours to mount 2 tires. They did not balance them! Told me they were too heavy to balance. There normal truck wheels and tires nothing special. Now I have to pay some other shop to finish the job. Should also note. The shop is a mess and everyone I saw that was “working” there was on their phone. The guy at the counter was even sitting in what I think was his car, on his phone when I got there. Same car was still parked in front of a bay 4 hours later when I picked up my truck. Update: took the truck to another shop to finish the job and balance the tires. They had a hard time removing some of the lug nuts, they were clearly over torqued. I also noticed on my way there that the vent in my dash has been damaged. I haven’t driven the truck since the tires were mounted! Now it looks like they don’t want the business. They put up a road closure sign to their parking lot.

I had taken my car into Monro on December 2nd needing new brakes, tire rotation & an oil change. Upon changing my oil, the plug on my oil pan was stripped. They had estimated the cost be near $1500. The mechanic working on my vehicle was able to later salvage the part...however, they DECIDED that since I would need a new battery within the next couple of months to go ahead and change that my bill was $598.74 and I paid that on 12/2. Mind you, I never received any updates; I was always the one who had to reach out to see if/when my car would be ready for pick up. The manager responded that they would need to keep my car for the next couple of days. Sunday, December 4th rolls around and still no update from anyone. I finally was able to reach someone who could give me an update, it wasn't good news. When they went to change the battery my security in my car "locked up" and wouldn't even turn on or do anything. Therefore, on a Sunday early afternoon, I was advised to go rent a car. Well, on a Sunday there aren't many rental places open. I found a place; they luckily had 1 car they were able to rent out. Throughout that entire week, I was lead to believe that my car would be ready...each day I was told, give us one more day. One more day....this was unacceptable. The rental place on Thursday finally called me and said they needed to have the rental car back by 5pm that day. I still did not have my car. I was then advised by the manager of Monro to return that car and go to a different rental place where they had an account, which means the first rental car was on my dime, but I was TOLD that I would be reimbursed for this. That bill was $300.86. Once I got my new rental car on 12/8, I had received another call from Monro on 12/13 from a new manager of the store stating that the manager I had been communicating with no longer works for the company. He had asked what was going on with my car, and how long they had it for. Seems like there is ZERO communication within that branch, and we're working on 2 weeks of my car being in their possession. FINALLY by 12/15 I was told that my car was ready for pick up, at that time I was told to bring my receipt for my total that I paid and for the first rental car in. I was told I would be getting money back, and that is why I needed to present that information when picking up my car. However, when I went to pick up my car, the guy who behind the counter seemed shocked when I handed him this stuff and said he didn't need anything. I told him I needed to AT LEAST be refunded the amount I paid for the rental car, when I should have NEVER had to do that. Well here we are again, 2 weeks after having my car back and I have received ZERO communication from not only the Springboro branch or management, but the customer service of the company. I have contacted them TWICE, I have been very patient and I was extremely patient with everyone involved since the start of all this on 12/2. I never once complained, I never had an attitude, I never raised my voice with anyone, but this is the most unacceptable service I...

So let me tell you not only am I disappointed at Monro but at the kind of people they hire and call their managers. This Memorial day weekend father came from Cleveland to visit family. He had his water pump go bad. We tried to look for places open but couldn't find anyone. We did come across this one which said they could do it in 5 hours and would be around 600$. Well 5 hours turned into 5 days and a total of like 2500$. Now let me be the first to say accidents happen and that is completely understandable but what this company tried to do was downright robbery. Chris the manager called me on first day saying he needed to wait till the next day to get gaskets so i understood. Then at the end of the second day said I needed a new coolant reservoir. I was skeptical on this but I said OK anything to get the car right its my father and he needs to be back on Sunday night. Then come Sunday he was actually putting the car back together and had it completely back and was testing it and it was still leaking. He took it apart and cracked the water pump housing because he didn't torq it in the correct pattern or proper specs. So now we have to order a 750$ part from Cadillac which will take 24 hours to get. Finally the last day comes by and he gets the new parts in and my father has been waiting there all day asks what specs is he installing it with so it didnt break again. Chris gets completely disrespectful and tells him to leave that he is being a pain in his ass. All we want is our car. he gets done with the car and I ask him to show me the breakdown of the bill. He basically said we have to eat the cost of his mistakes. I then ask him to see all the broken parts. I understand if things are wrong but the housing was cracked by his mechanic and I wanted to see the reservoir where it was leaking since i only went in there with a water pump issue not all the issues he is saying. We check the reservoir and its not leaking at all. A 400$ part that he just wanted to tack on the bill to take advantage of someone who was already in a bad situation. He gets upset because we don't see it leaking and tells his mechanic to put it back on the car and take the new one off. We let him cause at this point we are past frustrated. Finally the bill comes to 1500$ which is still way up from his original quote of 600-700 but at this point we have no choice to pay for the work. This company and these guys specifically are crooks its sad because if this was my grandma that stopped in or my wife or mother and they were in this situation they would just put on a credit card over extend their account cause they don't know any better. Its just sad, Danny who use to work here was a Marine, had integrity took care of customers. Now they are just taking customers for a ride, specifically veterans on Memoral Day. They branded a mechanic as a bad mechanic from their regional office that worked on my car that did an oil change and he did not put my oil filter on right that caused my car to loose oil which caused a loud knocking noise in my engine so like anyone else on a Labor Day weekend took my car to closest place to get oil in my car to try to salvage anything which I had explained to the manager at Monroe that the place I went to which was take 5 oil change shop noticed my engine oil was DRY AND FILTER WASnt on right so bill the manager at Monroe asked me to bring car to them so I did so when I took I asked Ernie what was my mileage on my vehicle when we brought it for an oil change to prove the car hasn’t been driven because we was out the country for 2 and half months and we find out that that branded bad mechanic didn’t enter my mileage correct he entered 456 which throws out the window me proving the car hasn’t been driven so they kept for 5 days knowing I had taken it somewhere else to get oil in my car so 5 days later they tell me I have two bolts rusted out that connect the manifold which has nothing to do with the issue because the manifold pushes air out the engine towards the exhaust and after telling Ernie that can not be the reason his second excuse was well because you took it to another location it voids anything they did so they try to give any excuse to get out of their mistake even if it isn’t related because they think you might know nothing about parts or cars and after showing them your no idiot they have a backup excuse to weasel out of their branded bad mechanics mistake which is you voided our work after going to another location to put oil in a car that needed oil and it was in a Labor Day weekend and all this wouldn’t have happened if they had real mechanics working on people’s cars now I need 3k in engine work due to their mistake that they will not own up to and honor their work So why wasn’t I told from the beginning that since I went somewhere else to get oil in my engine voided everything Monroe did the reason why is because they try wiggle their way out of their mistakes

So they reply to my review to call them back at my earliest convenience to make sure the public reads their response showing that they are concerned about the issue but they don’t answer nor do they return the phone call so what is the point of responding if your not going resolve the...
