Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Springboro

I normally love Donatos. But this location has some serious issues. The manager is not very bright. Customer service is non existent and good luck getting your order in time. If no one is there to deliver pizza, which is an every day occurrence, they call the door dash to deliver to you. They don't mention this while you're ordering by the way,and they close early too because of "the Covid 19 pandemic," that has been over for almost a year. What should've been 15 minutes for delivery when you live 2 minutes from the store, turns into 2 hours and thirty minutes. By the time you get your overpriced pizza, it's cold and gross and you end up being angry because they won't answer the phone to fix the situation. Then you're stuck emailing them, can't speak to a manager or anyone in charge, and if you do by chance find someone working at the store it's some young kid who is too busy playing with the other pizza maker to pay attention that you've been standing there for 20 minutes waiting and haven't even been greeted. This is yet another example of a business using Covid 19 as an excuse to continuously deliver poor service. They can't keep staff because management is less than desirable. Skip this place, but if you must have this, If you can, just go pick it up. Otherwise, you're going to experience...

Ordered 2 pizzas for delivery, when pizzas did not arrive 15 minutes after estimated delivery, my husband called the store. He was told the pizza was on the way and to call back if still hadn't arrived after 10 minutes. We had to call again, this time we were told they had been delivered to the wrong address, the order was placed again. When the second order was not delivered after the estimated time of 30 minutes, my husband called the store again. This time we were told they had been delivered, but there was no answer at the door so driver treated it as a no contact delivery and left the pizzas on the porch. My husband checked our porch and the neighbors, no pizza. We were given the option to drive ourselves to the store and pick up the pizzas. At this point it was after 7pm and our 2 year old needed dinner. We were then told we'd be given a refund on our credit card and a credit for our next order. No refund was given on our Donatos account or our credit card. Tonight I decided to give them another chance, but since there was no credit on our account I had to call the store to place the order. My call was never answered, I waited on hold for 15 minutes....

What a terrible delivery establishment. I order my food at 6:30 and the delivery finally came in at 8:30. I live 5 minutes from the store and work thirds. The food was cold and the driver first tried to deliver the food to the wrong house, on the opposite side of town. I talked to the manager and she said to contact door dash. I ORDERED THE FOOD DIRECTLY THROUGH THE STORE. NEVER ONCE ORDERED THROUGH DOORDASH. She said she would remake the food but I had to come and pick it up. Why did i pay extra for delivery? We ordered a salad, along with the pizza, that was never delivered. I will NEVER order again from this store and suggest you don’t either. Go to Pizza Hut, at least it’s hot and you won’t get the run around from DoorDash drivers. Donatos has lost a customer who has ordered for over 10 years. I wanted my money back but the best they could do was a in store credit, which I will never use because I will NEVER order Donatos from Springboro ever again. Get drivers or don’t offer delivery. It is that simple. What a trash store with trash management, spend your money elsewhere. You will get better food and better delivery from literally...
