I called Del Rey market yesterday because I had purchased some fruit that ended up having mold inside. I talked with an older lady and asked her to check the other produce in case those had mold as well and to prevent other customers having to deal with the same issue. Instead of listening to my request, she responded quite rudely that the reason there was mold was because I left the fruit outside too long and hung up. To be a market that sells a lot of produce, I am disappointed they do not take their quality of product seriously, especially concerning mold. I have been a customer for a few years now and have noticed the customer service from their cashiers (specifically the older lady) is not always the friendliest or inviting (no greeting or thank you).
