I went on Cinco de Mayo and this is my experience. I'll leave it up to you to decide: Arrived w one family member roughly 45 minutes before closing. Already accepted the fact they were closing soon, but we just wanted a quick margarita or two. It smelled highly strong of cleaning chemicals the moment we walked in. No host at front at immediate arrival. Ordered a blended margarita. The taste was fine but it was chock full of ice. I've feel like they put em in there to fill my glass more. I pulled them all out and had half a drink left. They filled up my entire salsa bowl. Promptly ordered another round, but on rocks. Server came up with our check already before even asking if we wanted anything else. Server misunderstood us and thought two more each and he said no. So after breaking the language barrier we finally got him to understand our order. Second drink tasted like it was straight mixer with no alcohol. Barely as we begin second drink, a man comes down the restaurant w a mop and those chemicals come wafting about, completely destroying any sense of wanting to finish our drinks and go in normal time. I've worked in hospitality and service my entire life..over 17 years. You do not rush a customer by cleaning to give them the hint you're closing. You table touch- asking how your food and drink are, and if they would like to order something else. You even stay open past closing if need be, until the customer leaves, not tell them you're closing soon. So even though we knew it was near closing, we didn't appreciate feeling rushed, and with bad drink service. Estimated we spent less than a half hour and left our second drinks bit passed half full. I've had their cheese enchiladas before and I was not impressed with the cheese at all. I gave this place two chances and I believe that...
Read moreIf I could give it 0 stars I would, where do i start? The Dr.Pepper I got was FLAT and it didn’t even have bubbles in it. The Tortilla chips were burnt, the salsa tasted like marinara sauce, the queso tasted like powder cheese mixed with water. My main course which was just a three chicken tenders and fries from the kids menu (because I didn’t have high hopes) was also disgusting. The chicken tenders tasted like nothing and it was the weird rib meat texture, my fries were okay because it’s not hard to mess up fries, but they had a weird after taste.
Now on the customer service- The waiters completely ignored us when they got our orders wrong and never fixed them, and then when i told a waitress that my food wasn’t good and i didn’t eat it she looked at me like i was crazy and said “oh really” in a snarky tone. I then went up to front desk to ask for a refund and the women told me that i would still have to pay for my flat soda which was 3.68. 0/10 would...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences we have had. There were roaches, a hair in my food, and the service was close to non existent. We had to ask for a refill on the one basket of chips (for three of us), my husband did not get a refill of his soda, and once the food was out, the servers did not come by our table once. I ordered a horchata, it was priced at 2.85 on the menu. They charged me 5.80. When I told them that was wrong, the maybe 17 year old girl argued with me for at least 10 minutes saying there was nothing she could do and there was no manager she could consult, while telling me I just had to pay it and giving me attitude the whole time. I asked her to just charge me for a soda since they were the same price, she said she couldn’t. Finally she just took off the charge, and shoved my change in my hands and took the receipt. She had shorted my change. I will NEVER...
