Springdale Aquatic Center — Local services in Springdale

I used to come here a lot but the Springdale public pool is not the same and very run down. There are no lockers or working showers to shower in men or women. There were 3 very dangerous cracked plastic steps going up to the big slides that somebody's foot will go through eventually if not fixed not to mention mold. The lifeguards made everyone get out of the pool 15 minutes early because there was a birthday party but the regular public was not informed of anything upon arrival or entering that they would be closing early. And lastly, the lifeguards starting spraying chemicals all over the bathroom with a large sprayer while people and children were still changing inside. I don't usually leave bad reviews or complain but it was very unprofessional. I would rather spend my pool days at Prairie Grove pool it is never busy and they have...

Paid $20 for me and 4 kids to enter at 12:00pm (opening). Before we even sat down I received a phone call (at 12:02) and had to leave. Went right back to the entrance to get my $20 bill back that I handed her TWO minutes before and they refused to give me my money back. Spoke with the manager who also refused. She was zero help. Have they never had a family emergency?!? Hadn’t even dipped a toe in the water. Offered me passes to come back tomorrow (their last day) and not redeemable next season. I came from Oklahoma and can’t come tomorrow. Absolutely horrible management and policies. Called Parks & Rec and have yet to receive a call back. Some sympathy and help would’ve been nice. Human decency.

Oh, and when we got in the car the kids informed me their diving boards were broken/closed down....

Let me start out by saying ppl who are complaining about other ppl not wearing swim suits that is not right what if they don't like swim suits or how they look in them? The main reason I give this place 5 stars is because they do allow you to wear your cloths to swim in I mean I don't like wearing swim suits cuz I am over weight and I can't find any that fit my body right so wear a sports bra a tank top and shorts.
