I drove down today from the Dayton area and was very pleased with VMart. Although we have several well stocked Asian markets here, VMart has many offerings in one place and is laid out like a small super market. It's close in size to a Whole Foods or a Kroger Fresh Fair, although a little smaller. It's very well organized and clean and they also have a section of kitchen wares. The staff was friendly and greeted me upon entering the store. I was looking for brands of Natto that I hadn't tried before or been able to find in the Dayton area. I couldn't find where the Natto was stocked because I was only looking in the vertical freezers. I asked one of the cashiers and instead of pointing me in the direction he actually walked me to where it was located in one of the floor freezers. They had a lot of customers in the store and were busy and I thought this was fantastic customer service on his behalf. I wish I had gotten his name so I could include it here. He did check me out and my receipt shows it was Station 04 Cashier 104 on 1/7/24. I hope this Thank You finds its way to him. I'll be back to stock up...

The cashier had a very bad attitude. We gave her $90 but she said we only had $80. We asked her to check the camera and she said it was broken and couldn't be used. We tried to find the manager but were told that the manager and the boss were not there. Such a big supermarket didn't have a manager. But other staff told us that the camera was usable. Then the cashier took out $10 from her wallet and gave it to me, hoping that I would take the money and leave. But she still didn't think that I gave her $90 and just wanted to get rid of me with $10. We refused and still wanted to communicate with the management to check the camera. We need the truth! Then the cashier took out her wallet and took out more money and asked me how much I needed. This is not the attitude to solve the problem. I won't come again.
